Bought it used Sept 2007. Made in 2001. China. Tiny solid state practice amp but big sound. Has Volume, middle, treble, bass, presence, and a headphone input. Eight inch speaker. Single input for guitar. NO frills. NO master volume. Twenty watts of nice clean power with nice distortion when pushed.

Solid state amps have made amazing quality strides in the sound/tone department. This little thing sounds almost as good as my Acoustic 134 or my Gibson Lab Series L7. It's got acceptable bass for it's tiny size. The tone tries to lean towards Fendery clean with nice harmonic content and it succeeds quite well. It will distort when cranked and has a nice distorted tone...this amp is NOT THIN AND SCRATCHY AND TRANSISTOR RADIO-LIKE like the solid state amps of the 70's and 80's we all hated. FAR superior to that.I use Fenders and Gibsons and Ibanez's through it...sounds great. This amp is absolutely quiet...no buzz or hum when on. It'll do whatever style you want but you'll need a pedal to do heavy metal...the distortion is just not the modified stack variety.

I've played for over 30 years, owned over 50 amps....this is the best small solid state practice amp I've ever heard. I was impressed and amazed at how much better this little Chinese amp is than the crap we had years ago. This stupid thing sounds better than some Fender tube amps I've owned.
