This amp is very basic, and the same as the tube version of the model 2. It has volume, termelo (on/off), and tone (on/off). two inputs, one channel, i'm not sure of the power rating on the amp i've read it's between 5 and 10, i think its a 6 or 7 though. Its equpited with a 10' cts speaker. Not many fetures but for its price and age no one can complain.

Sound Quality : 7
I generally use a mij lp copy and it sounds great alone or with some kind of gain preamp. it sounds good and loud in my bedroom, and could be easily used for recording. the tremelo soso and lets you replicate the early 60s term sound. It almost, and i stress almost sounds as good as it's warmer tube predicessors.

the thing really lights up when you use an amp modulator on top of it. i hooked up a vamp2 and with little tweeking the thing producted the deep blusey sound i was looking for.

Reliability : 8
well it was made in 73 and everything works perfect on it. not even any hum. with the origional power cord i shocked myself a few times before putting a new one in with ground, other then that i can't complain.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I'm sure it was good 30 years ago.

Overall Rating : 7
for a bedroom and or recording amp you really can't beat it. it took my friends fender frontman to school. it really can produce a CLEAN CLEAN sound. i'd imagine it would work well for harps as well.
