To the person who reviewed this amp or anyone else who has the schematic for it: what is the impedance of the speaker? I picked one up the other day, but it didn't have the schematic. Thanks!

The date on the schematic inside the case says this amp was made in 1962. There are only three controls - Instrument Volume, Tone Control (doubles as an on/off switch), Vibrato Speed (switches on/off) and Vibrato Strength. There are 3 Instrument Inputs and a Foot Switch jack. The amp will break up into a reasonable distortion when cranked up, but is has a very nice warm clean tone.

Very jazzy straight into the amp from my 2003 Ibanez Artcore AS73 (inexpensive 335 clone). Also sounds good with my ancient Aria Pro II Night Warrior (strat copy ca. early 80's, single/double coil splittable bridge pickup, single coils for mid and neck). I don't use this amp very much at all any more, but when I started out it was my main amp, coupled with an old Electro-Harmonix Big Muff pedal. It was fine for straight ahead rock and roll. Reverb would have been a nice addition, but not really necessary. Recently I've run my Pod into it and I get some nice tones with the Rectifier settings, but in general I'd rather go straight into the amp for cleaner sounds and let the Pod do it's thing straight into the mixer. The amp is surprisingly quiet, given it's age and lack of grounding. The clean tone straight into the amp is nice, but it isn't and never will be a great distorted amp.

Reliability : 7
I acquired it from a relative around 1983-4, and the amp has some miles on it at this point. The bottom of the case is very loose, but everything else including the pots are in good shape. I would never gig with it now, though I did gig with it 20 years ago and it help up fine. It has never given me a single problem, even though it really deserves a good overhaul (tubes, caps).

Customer Support : No Opinion
I am the customer, I support it. The company died long before the amp did.

I have been playing for over 22 years. I also own: Marshall Valvestate combo, Pod, cheap Drive CD100 amp, Ibanez Bass guitar, Epiphone VeeWee, Yamaha 12-string acoustic... You get the idea - lots of other gear that I'm too lazy to list and you probably don't care about anyways. If it were stolen I'd be very sad since I have never seen another one ever. I've only googled one or two mentions of the amp.
