This the perfect amp.
packs all features needed for a Pro Musician.
Volume 1,Volume 2, treble, mids, Bass, Presence, Fx loop and board out, Boost channel.
4 inputs Deluxe - Bassman tweed style.
All 100% American made all tube point to point handwired by the best him Gerald Weber.
Let me set the record straight with this is the best amp Gerald - Kendrick ever made, GERALD CALL IT THE BLUES AMP EVER MADE and I must agree After owning pretty much all models he ever made This the only one I am keeping and not seling. I owned a Kendrick Bassman TC2410, 2x10 CLIMAX amp and the second best amp he ever made The Texas crude 1x12" TC2112.

This amp is a Two 10" which gives Bass, Mids and treble anyway you like. The speaker to use with this amp would be The Jensen P10Q or P10R or also like the Kendrick 10" Black frame a bit more bright than the Jensen. BLUES BLUES BLUES. This amp sings and is like have a BLACKFACE VIBROLUX with the ability to sound like a FENDER TWEED amp like the Deluxe. is small package and packs tones of tone and it can be really loud if need to but what I love about Kendrick amps the sweetness like a Fender Blackface Fender with incredible ZZtop flavor. The speakers and the guitar will determine your final sound.
P90 with Jensen for Blues, ZZtop with Les PAUL or SRV with Strat what can Say the best of the best.

I been playing for 20 years and I owned Two Rocks, Bad Cats, Matchless, Clark, Victoria, Carr, Fenders of all types, Tone King, Divided by 13, Kendrick Bassman TC2410, Kendrick 2x10 CLIMAX, Kendrick Texas crude 1x12" TC2112 and I have bad news for you guys I sold them all and I only ketp Kendrick 2210, Two rock Custom 100 and Bad cat Black Cat and Hot Cat This amps are the bomb for me. I can go from Blackface to Tweed, From Marshall to Vox, Soldano to Bogner and at last from Dumble to Trainwreck. Speaker I like are the Blue fane for Vox tones, Greenback for Marshall tones Jensen or Kendrick for Fender tones and the Vintage 30's or 65's for all around tone or Robben Ford Dumble tones.

I waited a long time before placing a review. But I'm compelled to do so now because everyone should try a Kendrick. I'm so glad i did!
1994 model with surround cover hand signed by G. Weber himself! It's their 59 Bassman amp in a very compact 2-10 speaker config. The tweed work is simply beautiful to look at. Came with a total surround cover that's very excellent quality ( what you can expect from Kendrick ).
DEFINITELY not a shreddder amp. But for everything else, it has tone to the bone!
I play everything a little, but into roots rock and clsassic rock + blues. Country, funk, whatever. I like music! This amp is my favorite ( though I do like some of my other Fenders for specific tones ).
Mine has the 3-knob tube reverb built in ( WAY cool ).
Plus it comes with a TWEED covered footswich. You ought to see the eyes open up when I bring it to jam sessions. The footswich activates the extra gain stage. Unless you are looking for a specific "color" of distortion, there is no need for boost or dist. boxes. IT'S ALL IN THE AMP!!

I use a Washburn w/ DiMarzio Super Dist. pickups. I call it my " Led Sled ", since it works great for Zeppelin, Santana, etc. what can you say? Humbuckers..
Also have a Strat w/EMG SA's plus the preamp ( I leave it on all the time ). So I pound the front end of any amp I use.
I simply love the harmonic content of this amp. It's just dripping with tone! I have many Fender amps ( and have had lot's more ) and this is as good if not better than any of them! You know how sometimes you'll practice and then quit and not think twice about it?
After playing this amp, I find myself hearing these great tones in my head. It actually stays with you!
I can back my guitar volume to 7 and get a great clean tone. Turn it to 10 and I get whatever I've set the amp for as far as sustain and dist. That footswichable gain stage is awesome! Not buzz or fuzz. Just more great tube tone!
Like I said, except for chorus and delay everything I need comes from the amp.

When I got it, I took the cover off the chassis. Not only is the electronic work neat, but these amps are a breeze to work on. I work on my amps myself because of lack of qualified people in my area and the prices they charge. I have both of Gerald's books ( a MUST for anyone who owns and/or wants to work on their amp ).
This thing has given me no problems so far and is built like a tank! Solid is the best word to describe it.
Mine is in mint shape, so it hasn't broke down on me. But if it does, I'm ready!
I can usually get most of what I want tonewise out of my old Fenders, so I'll bring them along. Plus I use a 3 amp setup, so if one dies I'm alright. I never use less than 2 amps.

I've bought parts and customer support from Kendrick and I'm VERY satisfied. Quite often Gerald will get on the phone himself, and share his love of amps. Even gave me a tip on a pedal setup i was using at the time!
They're great people. I would not hesitate to do business with them at anytime. I'm not saying that to just make them sound good. They earned that reputation with me......

I'm a Fender man. Always have been. Always will. I've owned some of the most rarest and coolest ones. Fenders rule! And all the cool Fender clones out there are great too.......
I was deciding between a low-powered Tweed Twin and a Tweed Bandmaster by another maker ( starts with the letter V ) , and this Kendrick. They all were great-sounding, but what set the Kendrick apart was not only the tone or the craftmanship. It has so much more versatility. Truly, vintage tones WITH modern features.
This amp is so good that I can leave my old Fenders at home now!
When I get my inheritance ( what inheritance? ), I'll be looking to get some more of Gerald's products.
This is one amp that's a keeper! Its' a tweed covered work of amplifier art.

This is for a used 1993 amp. Tweed Bassman copy in 2x10 format. Nice amp for blues, jazz, rock, whatever. Switched to alnicos speakers, sounded really great, plenty of power, very portable. Mine also had the add-on reverb, really nice. Nice hand wiring, great job on construction.

I tend to think most of the tweed amps sound better with single coils. Very quiet amp, nice breakup, but put a pedal in front and to me you can get a very nice brown even distortion sound, not the super high gain, because the amp can get a little muddy, but you get ZZ Toppish. You also don't get that shrill treble type sound that you can get with some newer amps. You can get some cabinet rattle, which I guess is common to many tweed amps.

Point to point wiring,construction....no problems other than reverb-see below. Super nice!!

Called to ask a couple of questions, and Gerald answered. Reverb was not working when amp arrived, (bought second hand) He gave me some ideas where to look and upon closer inspection I was able to fix it with some molex wire connectors and solder...the reverb wiring harness was the problem. I've read other folks stories about their dealings with Gerald, and the problems they have had with him and his recent amps. That is too bad. I hope he can get it together. I would like to see him just go back to making the tweed stuff and concentrate on a few tweed designs, possibly with cheaper cabs, but the same point to point chassis. But time is money, business is business. To make it worth his while, he needs to make a certain amount of profit per unit sold. We would all do the same. At least we can seek out the used stuff.

Been jammin on and off for over 20 years. I sold this amp and moved onto something else, only because of the cabinet rattles. Everyone seems to knock Kendrick/Gerald, but I want to say the older amps he made were really quality stuff, can't comment on the newer stuff. Sometimes I regret not keeping the amp, and if you can get a good deal on a used Kendrick of this era, go for it! I may start looking for one of his deluxe copies myself soon.
