Features:a clean channel and a high gain channel,a 'TEXAS TEA' control that changes the clean channel sound between a 'fendery blackface tone' or 'tweed' tone. Amp has reverb, and thankfully, no master volume. I use an A/B pedal between the channels.

This amp is the most versitile and most dynamic amp I've ever used. I play a '65 strat, no fx, and I use a Fane anilcos in a 212 enclosure. Super rich harmonics and complexity in the lead channel. It's not nasel sounding or raspy like allot of high gain amps get. Bass is tight and focused, I don't hear any annoying overtones that beat with note like I did with my Marshall plexi R.I. This amp is super sustain 'bluesy,-not 'metaly' ( is that a word?) The clean channel is punchy and pristine, without that edgy grit on the attack. Chords are full spectrum on the clean channel--you can hear every string, it doesnt clump 'em all together like my bf super. I love the clean channel on 10 ! It's got balls and sings wide open.

I got my Climax at a pawnshop, I was extreamly leary. So far, its been used for six 4hr gigs and I keep it on standby between sets. It hasn't made a glitch of a noise yet. It seems rock solid, though I don't care for the leather handle. I'm paranoid it will rip.

I talked to a tech at Kendrick before I bought it. He was sharp, friendly, and informative. Since I bought it at a pawn shop, there is no warranty but the phone manner at Kendrick is polite, super informative and I feel confidant that they will take care of me if I ever have a problem.

I've been playing professionally for 8 years now. I've tried several other amps in the price and quality catagory of the Climax and I think I lucked out on finding this. I've gotten more compliments on my tone since I've owned this than any rig I've ever had.
