There isn't much info on this amp on the net, so I decided to at least put my amp on here. I bought my amp used on eBay. It works and is in very good condition considering it's age. It's an amp head, made in Canada, and apparently it came standard with an attached speaker cabinet (I don't have it) since it has latches on the sides. The control knobs are on the back of the head, with the sparkle silver grill on the front (not very convenient). I believe this model was made in the mid-1960's. It has 4 inputs that all sound the same, so apparently not hi/low. Controls: vol, treble, bass, tremolo speed and strength (with footswitch jack). It has the following tubes: 12AU7A, EF94/6AU6, 7025/12AX7, (2) EL84, 5Y3. My amp's tremolo circuit does not work. With the two EL84's, the output is probably about 15 watts.

The sound is pretty, mellow and clean. I like to keep the treble at 7 and the bass at 3 for clean sounds. Plugging in an overdrive pedal, like the DOD 250 clone I have, brings out a great overdrive character to the amp. I prefer to use the bridge humbucking pickup of my guitar, sometimes mixing in the neck pickup for more bass. The speaker outputs are two phono plug outputs (strange) and I currently just plug the head straight from one of the outputs into a 1X12 8 ohm Jensen speaker cab using a phono-to-1/4" cable I have.

I've only had it a few months. It's a point-to-point circuit, so the parts should be pretty easy to replace when it's time. It appears to be all-original. Kent doesn't exist anymore...anyone with knowledge of schematics for this amp is free to contact me. Maybe I'll get the tremolo fixed at some point? The construction is 1/2" plywood and there are no corner caps, so this isn't a great for banging around. Not really gig ready!

I like it. I love old tube amps! It sounds similar to my old Gibson GA 8T, who's tremolo circuit also doesn't work! Apparently these Kents are pretty rare, so it would be hard to replace. I think that I got a good deal on this. I've been playing for 30 years, play in a part-time band, and I like LP and Strat-style guitars.
