I bought it new in May 2008.

I play mostly Country and need clean sound. This amp has a ton of good clean sound.

2 channels, manual switching, headphone jack.

Pretty full featured for what it is.

Sound Quality : 10
I am using this with Teles and single coils.

This amp gives plenty of tele "spank".

If you crank it (which you can) it can get noisy.

Great clean, kind of "Buzzy' OD sound. You can pretty much crank the clean channel. It doesn't distort until it is dimed.

Reliability : No Opinion
Not had it long enough.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Not needed yet.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been at it for 45 years. Own mostly Fenders amps and guitars.

I would replace it if lost. I have a Blues Jr. that I would compare this very favorably to. I am only sorry I didn't order another one.

I bought this amp used , in 2008. Oddly enough i purchased it for use with my Taylor acoustic guitar. My band is performing several acoustic/unplugged type shows, and i wanted something to take the acoustic bite off our sound, that would also give me some sonic space for the alternative, goth, deathrock genre we are into.i use the rhythm channel most, although a side project gave me a chance to play some old school blues, where i used the lead channel with my 63 Telecaster. The line out is an awesome feature not usually found on small beginner practice amps. This little guy filled the 500+ capacity room wonderfully(with p.a. assistance of course)As far as cd input, idon't know why amps do this, even my 200watt line 6 has this,i don't see the real point.

Sound Quality : 8
The sound was way better than the old peavey rage my mom bought me back in junior high. This little guy sounds thick. i have used the dart for recording my acoustic,in a digital studio, and she came through just fine,i had to roll the highs off for clarity purposes, but thats and easy adjustment.

Reliability : No Opinion
No problems yet,not more than a year old though.

bought it used from a pawn shop that offers a 60 day guarantee on everything.

i have been playing music since the age of 3,i'm now 31,and have played guitar for 9 years, and trumpet and drums for about 17+.I use line 6 gear live, since my band has an electronic goth edge. My electric rig consists of two Gibson SGs',a 67',and 2005 custom. My acoustic is a late 80's Taylor. The amp cost me so little,i would gladly replace it,as long as i found a good deal.I love tuck & roll kustoms, always have.super clean retro look.

This amp is loaded with features. Number one is it's looks. Number two is speaker out this drives a 4x12 great. # 3 is the two different channels and really good active EQ.

Sound Quality : 9
This amp has a nice clean, and the distortion channel is very polished sounding. It really shines through an external cabinet the internal speaker limits this amps abilities.

Reliability : No Opinion
Too new to tell

Never needed them

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for 30 years, I use Marshalls, Palomino, Star amps, Hughes and Kettner. This amp has not been stolen or lost and I already bought another. This amp sound more HIFI then out of conrol like a hot raw tube amp but....you can still get high gain sound it just sounds like it has been processed already (like on a record)..not a bad feature on a cheap amp that doubles as a foot stool!

This is a 10W solid state amp with a 6.5" speaker. 2 channels (lead and rhythm), eq, delay and reverb effects. Headphone jack, line out, speaker cab jack, cd input. Not bad for a $99 practice amp. Sparkley red car upholstery tolex with sealed back. Very classy.

Sound Quality : 9
I give this a nine because it sounds better than what I think an amp of this caliber should sound. This is the only ss amp I own. I own two 120W Peavey amps and a 65W Peavey combo. I have owned a few Marshalls too. This doesn't hold a candle to them, but it sounds very good for its purpose; which for me is a dorm room amp. The 6.5" speaker is very articulate, the highs and lows are good. The mids not so much. The effects are cool, but not outstanding. It is loud for its size as well. I can't turn it up much past halfway without someone in the other room complaining. The lead channel is really all this amp needs because you can get clean and distortion out of it.

Reliability : 10
Been good so far. Kustom is pretty reliable.

Three year warranty parts and labor. Never dealt with Kustom though.

Overall Rating : 10
I think it is a great amp for $99 brand new. If you don't like the Line6 Spyder III series or Behringer amps, and need a good practice amp, this is probably it. Not to mention its cool look.

New 2006 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Kustom name. Main feature is the retro tuck and roll (mine is red sparkle). Other than that it is a basic 10 watt solid state practice amp with 6 1/2 inch speaker, sealed cabinet. It's single input but can switch between lead channel and rhythm. Gain and volume on the lead channel, volume only on rhythm. Regular bass, mid and treble controls. Has a built in digital delay and reverb. There's also a speaker out, headphone out and CD player input on rear. I use it as a practice amp.

Sound Quality : 7
Honestly I was surprised at how good this thing sounded. I'm realtively new to guitar but have spent 30+ years as an audio production specialist so I know what sounds good.
I play a stock Epiphone Dot. Using the rhythm channel the neck pickup the sound is full and round, the small speaker handles the low end nicely at moderate volume. The bridge pickup has a nice bite through this amp. The lead channel really ups the gain on this thing but sounds a little harsh to my ear. Since I'm a beginning player and still trying to get my fingers to stretch for barre chords I'm not to worried about playing leads just yet. My only complaint is that there is an low AC hum from the amp when at idle....what do you expect for $99 street? Since you'd have to mic it for a gig or recording that could be a problem unless you gate the microphone. I've also noticed that I have to send more signal to the amp from the guitar, compared with my original practice amp which sports 2-10's and 60 watts of power. Obviously hotter pickups will work better with the amp.

The reverb and digital delay are not very useful, but again, this amp is designed to a price point.

Reliability : 8
It's brand new but the design is that of the Kustom Dart series of small amps. If I ever get to the point of gigging, I'd probably take it along as a prop-backup amp, since it is rather cool to look at.

Customer Support : No Opinion
No experience, though I suspect the current owners of the Kustom trademark would probably be reasonable if this were problems.

Overall Rating : 10
As mentioned, I'm a guitar newbie with a Epiphone Dot (lefty!) and the original practice amp is oddly enough also a Kustom, but a WAV 210 found for a reasonable price on Craig's List.
I bought the '66 Dart because of all the memories I have of all those 60's bands that had somebody playing a Kustom 100 or 200. Those amps made a statement back then and even though this thing isn't much more than a foot tall and wide, it still looks cool. When I heard Kustom was going to release this series I knew I had to have one. I didn't have a clue what it was going to sell for but when I saw it in a catalog from one of the box houses for $99, I ordered immediately. It's supposed to be a limited edition, I have no idea what the production run is, but if you're as old as I am and once had or played through an original Kustom amp, this will put a smile on your face. Overall rating is heavily influenced by the nostalgia value.
