I bought this amp new a few weeks ago as my first amp. I play mainly blues and like the tone and sound I get from this amp. It has plenty of power for what I do (practice in the house). If I was interested in gigs I would take this one and give it a try. I am not sure it would be suited for a large venue but the places I go it would do well.

Sound Quality : 8
I am using an Ibanez Artcore (hollow body) with this amp. I haven't found it to be noisy at all, but I haven't cranked up the volume either.

I have been playing about 1 year, just switched to electric. I wanted a tube amp but I don't want to spend that kind of money right now. If this amp were stolen I would buy another just like it. For just starting out with an amp I wish it had more detailed instructions letting me know how to use it to its fullest potential on all the different settings.

Year 2008
Playing Classic rock, Christian
2 channels headphones jacks, external speaker line out
Golbal dial for the effects.
Wish it was footswitchalble
This this is very light easy to transport.
This is perfect to practice with.
Giving it 7 because it is solid atate

Sound Quality : 7
Using Epiphone Casino W/p 90 p'ups and Washburn Delta Blues with humbuckers
Seems to adapt to most music styles I play.
Not to noisy at all levels
distortion is good, reverb is lacking does have delay and chorus to help.
The clean channel is pretty good at all volumes.
The distortion does amp up and will sing out on the high notes.
Two 12 inch speakers it will jam.
This amp is a lot of fun. Friends are amazed at the sound and can not believe the price I paid for it.

Reliability : 9
Only have had it for about 3 months now. No problems.

Customer Support : 10
Have not had any problems. However I have other Kustom equipment and have had good success with customer service.
Kustom has been around for years.

I have been in an out of music most my life. Playing steady for about 10 years now. I would replace this if stolen.
Two 12 inch speakers and decent effects this is a great practice amp or perfect for small gigs.
I wish it had spring reverb but the price will not afford that.
Look I found this on sale at a local store. Plugged into it to test out a guitar. It was shaking the plateglass windows. For the cost of a cheap effects pedal. I purchaed it no regrets. Didn't by the guitar
This would make a great first amp for novice or practice amp.anyone.

Overall: Very good practice/rehearsal amp from Kustom. Big sound from 2-12" speakers. Excellent clean channel, so-so distortion that can be tweaked with the very responsive and smart EQ. Built-in effects are very helpful but just for added color, not customizable. Recommended.

30W solid state dual channel (manual, not footswitchable);
2-12" Kustom speakers;
Reverb or Delay (not both together) with switchable Chorus effect
(effects share single knob, for overall level; no parameter adjustments or tweaking;
Jacks in back of amp for headphones, line out, and speakers

Sound Quality : 8
I'm playing a West Corinth Studio custom semi-hollow (see my review here at H-C) with splittable Fat Diane PAFs from Manlius. I play any catchy or corny 70s music that I grew up on, from Donna Summer to Queen to The Clash. Clean channel is outstanding, great headroom. EQ very smart and responsive, adds so much without sounding shrill or too boomy. 2-12" speakers add great richness and power to the sound as you can imagine. Distortion can crank and get all the good squealy sounds but definitely transistor-sounding. The EQ and speakers really save it, since you can get a lot of sounds from this amp with some patience. I miss having a footswitch but like this amp way more than the many low-end Fender, Vox and Line 6 amps I tried before stumbling on this.

Only owned a month. Cabinet is on the cheaper side, but I'd definitely gig with this, being sure to take care.

Like many folks I want my amp to do everything...I just don't want to spend a lot for it! After trying many (dozens?) of modeling/digi/compu dial-a-stack amps, and being left cold, I checked out the Kustoms and am glad I did. Kustom seems to be focusing in areas where it counts, like the 12" speakers in this model and terrific EQ. Basically all the cool sounds don't matter if you don't have the TONE, and I'm really happy with this amp so far. Can it call my iPhone and download music? NO. It doesn't even have a footswitch. But good on Kustom for making simple "old-fashioned" practice amps that aspire to be so much more. It's not just some clever electronics, in other words, but an amp I can respect for its basic sonic integrity. I'd definitely replace this if it were stolen...

Even though I only gave 8s above I'm giving this amp a 10 overall because I genuinely believe it's a "fantastic value." Getting 2-12s for under $200 US? With nice reverb/delay/chorus, 2 channels, and some outs to muck around with? I wrote this review because I think more people should know about this model.
