Resonable flexible for amateur musician. Two channels, some digital effects to enrich the sound.

Sound Quality : 6
Jackson SLSMG and a Gould semihollow.
The amp cant match the Jackson guitar but works well with the semihollow sound. Good for blues in BB-king style and lite distorted jazz sounds.
The distortion isnt good enough to produce a good metal sound, but works with easier rock.

Reliability : 8
Its never broke down on me, had it for six months.

nope

Overall Rating : 6
Played for three years, jazz, rock, metal and fusion. This amp works just fine, but it doesnt add any more value to your playing or your sound.

I checked this amp out used at a local second hand store. (I did not buy it). About 2 years old. At first I thought with the DFX and other features I would like it as a practice amp, I was wrong. None of the FX worked when I tried it, but I didn't have a foot switch so I don't know if it needs one for them to work or not, I think they should work without a foot switch. Has channel switching via a foot switch, again no foot switch to check out the amp. 35 watts I think.

Sound Quality : 4
Lots of hissing and the tone controls were so-so when it came to tone adjustments. Some feed back from the hi-gain side of the amp turned up full, without the guitar plugged in?

Reliability : 2
I don't think it was well built some of the knobs were scrachy and the volume cut-out in some places while turning the gain and volume knobs.

? You gonna find a Kustom dealer to fix it, good luck. Maybe you can send it back to China to get fixed. I call these amps throw-aways when they go bad you don't fixem' you buy something else.

Been playing 45 years and have mucho guitars and some older tube amps, since I don't gig any more just jam and do some traveling I want to simpilfy my set up. Something small and simple that I can take with me, when I travel. Something that sounds good and is easy to cary.
I almost bought it, but with all the little things wrong and the price was too high, MF has them new for about $175 so if you really want one get it new. I don't know if the guy abused it and then hocked or what the story is but if I want a used amp I don't want one with any problems to start with. Still looking for the perfect practice amp.

I'm using a Washburn X-40 H/S/H with stock Washburn pickups.
Suits me just fine for garage/punk (ie mostly power chords).
Gets noisy when you turn it up; slight hum when effects are on.
Speaking of effects, the reverbs and delays are nice; modulations stink.
Clean channel is bright and shimmery; better than the Line 6 Spyder 112 I've been borrowing.
"Lead Channel" is really more of a nice, crunchy rhythm channel as itlacks sustain, but thats easily fixed by an OD pedal.Right now I'm using an RP 200 as a distortion modeler through it. That makes up for the amp's lack of sustain.

Just got it yesterday. I'm the third owner, but no else is complained.

I've been playing almost a year. I picked this up off of EBAY for cheap. It gives you a good power amp and speaker. The preamp is lacking in the "lead" department, but again, a pedal fixes that cheaply. I picked it over the VOX VR30 (too expensive) and the Behringer Ultraroc (too ugly and too many bad reviews). No complaints thus far.

2 Channels, 3-Band EQ with 2 setups (US / UK), 8 Effects (24Bit): Hall Reverb, Spring Reverb, Slap Back, Delay, Chorus, Chorus/Reverb, Flange/Chorus, Tremolo. 10"-Celestion speaker. No tubes. 30W, quite loud, defitnitely more than enough for jamming with the band. Apart from the normal input jack, there a Aux In. on the back you find a footswitch, line out, speaker out, and headphone. but why does the headphone jack have to be on the back? on the whole quite a lot of nice stuff!

Sound Quality : 8
I'm using a Cort X-6, Johnson Les Paul Custom and others. Thus i play single coil and humbuckers, on a variety of styles, from reggea to death metal, from ska to vintage rock.

The clean tone is very nice, the setup switch for the EQ works effectively. You can go quite far (about 85 %) before first distortion comes in, but youre at a high volume anyway.

The lead channel offers a great variety from soft crunch to hard rock, but the last quarter of the gain knob gives you a lot of white noise. on the whole i really like the sound, but it's definitely nothing for hard music.

Reliability : 10
Never broke in two years.

Bought it as an beginners amp, but it grew with me. I`ve been playing for four years now, and this amp does a great job, is very flexible, reliable and looks good. The effects sound nice, but not of too high quality, as you can only edit the level of the effect, i. e. no delay-time or whatever. I`d buy it again!

There are phone numbers and website adress on the manual. Apart from that i dont know much about this catagory.

Overall Rating : 8
I have been playing about a year , i own a marshall 10watt and two guitars. If it was lost or stolen i would buy something else depending on how much money i had.
The distortion could be better.
Other than that it is very good + reliable.
