This is a solid-state 2 channel 2X12 combo covered in tuck and roll naugahyde. Rated at 150 peak watts, but more than enough power to gig in a medium size venue. Channel 1 has reverb and tremolo/vibrato. Channel 2 has no effects. Both channels respond well to FX units between guitar and amp. This amp allows the tone of the instument to stand out with presence and clarity with minimal/no coloration. I have performed with this amp in country music/blues/classic rock, and have found it to be extremely versatile. Physically, this amp is about the same size and weight as a BF Twin Reverb.

Sound Quality : 9
I've played a LesPaul Deluxe with this amp since '83. I currently play rock/classic rock, using a TS9, Boss CS-2, sometimes a Boss HM-2, and nearly always a Fender outboard Reverb Unit (for the tube pre-amp and the awesome reverb). Rhythm or Lead, no problem.

Reliability : 10
I bought this amp used in '74. It's never been in the shop. What can ya say?!? 'Built like a tank.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I've never dealt with the company.

Overall Rating : 10
'Been playin' since about '68. I own a BF Twin Reverb RI, that I also think highly of. I sometimes take both amps out and a/b them with the Kustom runnin' dirty & the Twin runnin' clean. Both amps are pretty heavy, plus, by the time you hold a LP all evenin', ya physically get a work-out.
Sometimes, I think a gain channel would be nice, but I can get what I need out of various stompboxes. Maybe not being overburdened with extra stuff is a factor in the longevity and reliability of this amp. Too bad this model isn't bein' made anymore.
