This isn't a drawback of the product, exactly.. it's built to serve two purposes: switch the amp channel, and toggle the effects. It's just a limited device.

Sound Quality : No Opinion
Doesn't affect the sound of the amp.

Reliability : 5
This pedal looks really sturdy, but the circuit board inside is held to the switchplate by four small metal tabs. If someone steps on the switches a little too hard, be prepared to buy another pedal, 'cause there's no repairing it.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Haven't attempted to contact customer service about it.

Overall Rating : 5
It does what it's supposed to do, but it's a little fragile for my taste. Not a very sturdy design, in my opinion.

It's the KAC-F201 footswitch for the Quad DFX series. I bought it for my 100DFX amp. 2 buttons, channel switching and effects on/off. Only a retard would be able to mess this up. It comes with a 6m cable, which should be enough for anyone. Plug it in and it works.

Sound Quality : No Opinion
Has the same effect as pushing the buttons on the amp itself.

Reliability : 9
Just like the amp itself, it looks and feels like it could survive a nuclear war. Same goes for the cable. The housing is made of steel and the (steel) buttons feel solid as well. This will last a lifetime. I don't have to push hard to press them, which is good to me. The look is in the same style as the amp.

I first bought a Behringer footswitch for 20 bucks or so. It was a cheap piece of shit with plastic buttons and it required a 9v battery. I returned it when i tried it out once and bought the origional one for my amp. The guy at the store i bought is always nice and never makes a problem of anything. I guess this is not a review for the Kustom customer support so i'll won't give a rating since i've never dealth with them directly.

Overall Rating : 8
It's a footswitch. A good one. That's all there is to say really. Kinda a shame it didn't came standard with the amp, which i think it should for any amp in that price range (450 Euro's).
