The KLA-100D is a solid state 100 watt 2x12 combo, with 0db and -6db inputs. It has two channels; one clean and one overdrive. A footswitch changes channels. The clean channel features high, mid, and low range setting, with a volume and presence control. The OD channel has gain, bass, treble, and volume. A reverb control is for both channels. It also has an input and an output jack for an effects loop, as well as a headphone jack. The KLA-100D also has a 5-band EQ and a Bright switch that work very well. The EQ can be cut on or off Basically, it is a complete combo amp. The volume is loud enough that with the volume at .5 it?s as loud as most amps at 25% of their total volume. With the right settings you can play just about any style you can think of. It?s that versatile.

Sound Quality : 10
The KLA-100D gives other solid states something to shoot for. There?s a wide range of tones from good bass to cutting treble. I play everything from Little Richard and Chuck Berry to REM and Fastball and even some blues: it does it all. I've never had an unwanted feed back problem. It's not a noisy amp. I use it in conjunction with a 1967 Fender Pro-Reverb amp with a Korg G2 (great processor) and Boss CH-1 chorus. I play a 350 Rickenbacker
And this set-up works well together.

Reliability : 10
I got this amp new. When I heard it I knew that it would wok as advertised. As for gigs, I use it consantly.

Customer Support : 10
I've dealt with the company and the engineer who designed and built the amps - GREAT PEOPLE TO DO BUSINESS WITH. Some companies could learn a lot. I got a power surge that burned an IC chip. The amp was out of warrenty, but they were fast, friendly and helpful. Super people. 10+

Overall Rating : 10
I've been play over 20 years. I have a '67 Fender Pro-Reverb, Gibson '65 Melody Maker, Ovation Deacon, 350 Rickenbacker 'Liverpool', some MIDI gear and some Boss effect boxes.
I can not replace this amp as they do not make it any more. I wish they did. This is a complete combo amp for me.
