im using a stratacaster with S-S-S pickups and it fits my styles perfectly i play mostly punk/rockabilly/blusey sounding stuff. the distortion is great i use a DOD supra Distortion pedal and i love the way it sounds. it can get some feedback when you get too close to it just like any other amp when the distortion is on but this is only at realy high volumes

i have been playing for many years and this amp is great. i own a little kustom practice amp too i bought the p.a. because the little amp sounded so good i figured the big one would too and it does. if it were lost of stolen i would cry for days and then i would a tuck and roll kustom or a marshall stack
