im not sure of the year the 1970's i suppose.
I play grunge, like Nirvana alternative rock like the dinosaur jr. and the meat puppets.
i love the sound of this amp and if have a choice in the matter I will never own another brand of guitar amp.
i bought it at an auction for $250 (money well spent). i owned a fender amp before hand, but with petals it always seemed to possess to much high end which is not the case with this kasinowith the bright knob pushed in. i dont use the bright or the reverb though or the side built for bass.
i love the polarity switch and line output option.

Im using a fender guitar with semoir duncan hotrails pickups(for more bass and low end). It has a great clean crisp sound yet a bassy driving sound that doesn't leave this amp lack fullness
i relie mainly on distortion pedals for distortion, but do use a touch of the drive for alittle more gain.
The sans amp tech 21 clean setting gives the clean even more of a boost but it sound great alone also.
I use it for practice and shows with no complaint 3 is all the higher i have to put the volume on.

It has 4, 10 inch speakers which makes it hard to find replacements vintage celestion 10 but are kinda expensive.
I've owned this amp for 7 years, with no problems and i love it. Recently it starting to cut in and out at shows.
I can't find anyone to service it. I was told that kustom doesn't sell parts to anyone cause they dont want people servicing their equipment

EH Baseballs ,MXR phase 100 sans amp tech 21, boss x-tortion, hyper metal and a Ds2. I've been playing 15 years

I also have a Kustom kasino club l amp. use it all the time for both bass & lead.. it has a nice crisp sound to it a bit like a fender, not must distort but I get around it with a echo champer , it has enought punch for me in or out side, I play rock , bluse and country I also have two kustom kasino guitars to match it ! one is a fender telecaster copy 1956 version both are in like new condition. I use different guitars with this amp : Stratcaster Bass ; 1963 Palmer electric daul pickup ; Kasino/Kustom Telecaster copy for lead;
and another Kustom/Kasino for ryth&lead... With effect pedels this amp rocks. will get a bit of feedback on high vol. with reverb cranked up, but I use a echo chamber and I have no problem with this.

never had any prob. with this system, never been serviced by no one but me, I have cleaned the pots though..

Ive found little history on kustom amps, Ive used them since the 60's
and not had any problems. Kustom has been bought and sold so many times its hard to find info on them. Id love to have as much info as I can find on them, I know the kasino amps were made in kansas, and the kasino guitars are from japan, other than that ???? best guess.

Ive started plaing in 1963. the Palmer was my first guitar, would love to have info on it ? I love the sounds of the palmer & kustom guitars, I would'nt have any other. Ive tried fender and gibson , but for my dollar Ill keep with kustom !

1973 100 WATT SOLIDSTATE AMP TWO CHANNEL, GAIN KNOB,TREMOLO AND REVERB CONTROL, HAS FOOTSWITCH OUTPUT FOR CHANNEL SWITCHING, HAS LINE OUT JACK FOR RECORDING. SILVER FACE, TOLEX EXTERIOR COVERING. 4X10 SPEAKERS. HAS ENOUGH POWER FOR LIVE USE. DOES NOT HAVE A MODERN COMPRESSED BASS SOUND, BUT SOUNDS GOOD FOR IT'S AGE. I USE IT FOR BASS PLAYING, IT WAS DESIGNED TO PLAY BOTH GUITAR AND BASS THROUGH IT.

I USE A GIBSON ARTIST BASS WITH ACTIVE ELECTRONICS, AND IT SOUNDS VERY GOOD LIVE THROUGH THE KUSTOM. IT'S USED IN SMALL CLUB SITUATIONS WHERE MY MAIN BASS RIG WOULD BE OVERKILL. RETRO TREMOLO SOUNDS GREAT FOR THE KIND OF MUSIC MY BAND PLAYS. DISTORTION IS WEAK, GOOD FOR BLUES, NOT ROCK. I MAINLY USE SECOND CHANNEL FOR BASS ONLY.

I JUST ACQUIRED THIS AMP A MONTH AGO. THIS THING IS IN MINT CONDITION HAS ORIGINAL SCHMATIC SHEET AND OWNERS MANUAL AND SLIP COVER.
I DID PAY TO HAVE A MAINTANANCE CHECK ON IT, $50.00. THE AMP WAS PICKING UP RADIO STATIONS THROUGH THE SPEAKERS, AND IT HAD A FEW CAPACITORS REPLACED. SOUNDS FINE NOW.

I HAVE BEEN PLAYING BASS FOR 14 YEARS. OWN BBE BASS PREAMP FENDER 4X10 AND HARTKE 4X10 CABINETS, SABINE AUTO TUNER, ASHLEY 2000M POWER AMP. I LIKE THE KUSTOM KASINO AMP. IT HAS A RETRO LOOK TO IT AND IT SOUNDS GOOD. I WAS IMPRESSED THAT IT HAD A LINE OUT AND POWER OUTLET, AS WELL AS A GROUND LIFT AND FOOTSWITCH INPUT JACK. I THINK THIS ONE IS A KEEPER. IF I DID SELL IT, IT WOULD BE VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND ANOTHER IN THIS GOOD CONDITION.
