This amp has a huge and loud sound, maybe the best spring reverb i have heard.Wide range on the tone controls, By turning the master volume down it will go from Fender clean to a very fat sound. The master volume also has a bypass. Adjustable volume boost that can be activated by a foot switch. Nice distortion with the gain up.This amp is very quiet, Good sounding Eminence speaker. I play Country and Surf, Jazz.

I have been playing for 40 years,I would replace if stolen. I love the weight, tone, simple controls no channel switching and a very good reverb, Lots of low end punch if needed. The speaker has a little midrange boost that i don't care for, but pretty well balanced.Abig metal cage protects the power and driver tubes. Full size Magic parts reverb tank. A bargain for a 50 watt tube amp, this will smoke a Fender blues jr in tone and volume.

i use gibson classic 57 pickups . and play most alternative rockish music ( www.myspace.com/stillorgan ;D).
this amp is a real sweet thing .. huge value.
ide say like others have said before me its somwhere in between a fender and a vox .more headroom than the vox but more attitude than a fender , it has huge sound and can go real loud if you want it to . 50w tubes is quite a lot in a guitar combo . loud enoug for any stage .
ide say its aimed against the blues / rock type player .. no metal heads here (buy a solid state amp instead :D) but it does those genres wery well .. and its cheep right ..
takes pedals wery well . i use :catalinbread super chili picoso , T-rex moeller, xotic ac boost, marshall vibratrem, line6 echo park, boss sd1 , dod juicebox and it handles all these real good in my oppinion . takes a little time to tweak in the right amount of treble on the amp cause all the eq controls have quite long range ,so small adjustments make big sound differences.
its has real low end response aswell . might be the speaker (eminence speaker by the way :D) but like i said the eq controlls have long range so this aint no problem if you like a thinner tone you can get that aswell .. this amp dont seem to compress at all ,wich i like .. feels so amputated when you dig in and dont get more sound ,just more mud ..
reverb is nice. big spring thank . has a little to much tail maybee . usable is the right word for the reverb i think .. depends on what you like .
not a noisy amp .. real silent in fakt ..
i bought a VOX AC30cc1 cause i was looking for that voxy sound right.. i shure as h... didnt find it in there .. took it back , brought back a marshall vintage modern 50w 2x12 combo .. you know those purple ones with greenbacks inside.. this was a better amp , but lacks headroom .. its a marshall so no supprise there . guess maybee i thought there would be enough headroom since it was 50w .. but no .. took that back asweel .. came back with this "no name"(kustom) combo that blasted out tones in way that i have never heard in this price range before .. you get almost three defenders for the price of one of those vox amps .. and the defender sounds three times as good (at least) this is a real good deal folks .. buy one of these ( if youre not looking for any high gain stuff) youll never regret it ..
gets a 9 beacause i have heard ONE amp that sound better (a "65amp" amp , but those cost a fortune so)

like i said .this is a sweet amp ..in any price range .. it beats amps that costs three times this one .so if youre looking for an amp in the fender vox segment(leans more toward vox and british amp maybee) THIS is the right choise .
if it was lost / stolen ... ide buy a new one (ive had the amp for a while guys ,so this aint no overenthusiastic newbee rewiev :D)
