The amp is late '60s. Basically it's a poor man's Marshall plexi, but boy you wish you were poor.... It's an amazing amp! Probably most associated with Black Sabbath and Tony Iommi in particular, it is a terrific classic rock amp. I tracked it down because I love Sabbath and I wasn't disappointed.
It has two channels (bass and treble) and twice a volume knob for each channel(so gain you will get by punishing your neighbours. Tone is presence (also bit of gain actually), bass, middle, treble.
You can mix channels with a Y-patch a la Jimi.
It's the basic British configuration, so 12AX7's and EL34's.
Configuration suits me fine.

Sound Quality : 10
Amazing. That's what comes to mind every time I play it. It's very loud, but you can turn it down easily with your guitar volume. Depending on the guitar you're using (it's very responsive), you can go for Jimi, Sabbath (think the first 3 albums, you'll get that tone straight away, even without the treble booster), Peter Green etc.
You can play Jazz if you want (it's a very sweet sound, rounded) but it really rips if you go beyond vol. 3.
I use an SG Classic (with P90's), an Epiphone Genesis with Iommi humbucker and a Fernandes Strat. Over 30 years after it was made, the drummer still asks to turn it down...

Reliability : 9
Never went down, but I know the fuse can blow if the electricity is unstable. Basically fine, but it's vintage.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Called them once, they're friendly, but it's a different company alltogether.

Overall Rating : 10
Get it while you can... very underrated. Though difficult to find, most people have never heard of this amp and it looks a bit unspectacular. Take advantage of it..
