I bought it about 1 and a half year
Cleand/Distorsion channel switcher
3-Band Eq
Guitar and CD inputo
Headphone output
Strong
VERY Loud besides it's a 10w amp
I use it for punk rock, and it gives me all I need.

Sound Quality : 9
Regular on clean sound, it depends on the guitar, I use it with a strat and I put the guitar volume at 8, and it's ok.
Excellent crunch!! It blows up everything! It's small but it has a lot of POWER. I use bridge single coil for a Ramones or Nirvana sound, with a full crunch and the equalizer on a middle position
For a pistols sound, or a pop-punk sound, bridge+middle single coil with 0 on bridge tone and full tone on middle, and a full Mid in the equalizer with full crunch
For a metal sound, it depends on the style.
Not too noisy

Reliability : 8
No problems, you can do whatever you want with the amp and it will keep the sound
The only problem I had was that after few months it started to lose about 90% of volume.
I took it for service and the man told me that he cleaned it and it got the original volume back.
After that, NO PROBLEMS

I've never dealt with Laney.

Overall Rating : 10
EXCELLENT AMP for beginners, and to practice or play at home.
I love it, it's my little demon babe!

This amp is about a year old, it was brand new when i bought it.

Its only a 10 watt practice amp so dont expect mases of effects or huge power, but it does have a guitar and CD input, 3 band eq and a rather tasty gain channel. Im giving it an 8 because it does exactly what it was bought for, practising in my bedroom and along to CD's.

Sound Quality : 10
Im using an array of guitars, Gibson Les Paul, Washburn N2, Washburn MG44, Fender Double Fat Strat, LTD AX350 (with active EMG's) and a modified squier telecaster.

The clean channel is pretty average, nothing special but not terrible. You can dial in some fairly convincing sounds with the eq but i mainly just use it for the drive channel.

This is where it gets good, the drive channel is fantastic for an amp this size! I play heavy rock and metal and this has got a cracking tone for that sort of music! The distortion is great for cranking up and palm muting, it allows harmonics to ring out clear and loud, and even sounds good with some drop tuning without going muddy!

I liked the sound of this amp so much it inspired me to look into bigger laney amps and as a result i traded my Marshall head in for Laney TFX3 head, which is the one of the best sounding amps ive ever played!

Reliability : 9
Its over a year old and ive had no problems what-so-ever with it.

Very well made, all the knobs feel solid and the sound hasnt changed like some peoples seem to have.

Ive never dealt with Laney, ive never needed to (touch wood).

Overall Rating : 10
Very versatile little amp if distortion is your thing (it certainly is mine!) that's well made, well priced and sounds brilliant.

Laney's website had plenty of information on it when i bought it so i was pretty sure of what i was buying and what to expect.

It has a clean channel, a gain channel and a 3 band equalizer. For this type of small practice amp, this is versatile enough.

Sound Quality : 8
It is very important to use more volume on this amp to sound good or use a decent overdrive to boost the volume. The amp has a very decent rock british sound when I used the crunch on with guitar on the humbucker position. For clean tones, I prefer to set my guitar's tone fully up to achieve a nice clean tone. Over all, the sound is decent for this compact type amp.

Reliability : 9
Did not have any problems. I've been using it for a year now.

Never contacted them.

Overall Rating : 8
Overall, this little amp by itself is good for classic rock and early metal. For blues, it can't nail that typical slightly overdriven sound but if you use the clean setting and a decent overdrive pedal it will sound great for blues. Value for money and it serves its purpose of being a practice amp.

like others this amp was my first, came as a starter pack with a strat ripoff. now im moving onto a Marshall jcm800 2210 100w head.

1 channel
bass, mid, treble dials
distortion built in
CD/line in port
headphone port

decent for a begginer amp.

Sound Quality : 4
clean channel was ok i guess, nothing special

the distortion was terrible although, heaps of feedback etc. when i plugged a boss ds-1 pedal into it; god it sounded so much better.

while it's only 10w, it can be very loud (if it's working properly, see reliability)

Reliability : 6
well. the amp had a problem after a few weeks of use, the master volume would be cut down by probably 80% meaning a volume that would generally be loud, is quite soft.

to be able to hear it at a decent volume i have to use it at around 8-9. the thing was there were certain spots on the dial that were the orginal volume and it can change to that without warning at any spot on the dial.

other then that it's pretty sturdy

ok for beginners, but really wouldn't recommend it.

well it says hardcore so you KNOW its cool! just kidding. this was my first amp too. i then moved up to a marshall avt 100, which half the world seems to have own along with the mg series. two options. clean or "crunch factor" press the little white button to switch between the two of them. can use headphones and a cd line in so u can play along to a cd, which i have never used and dont know how to use. its got a mid bass and treble. got a master. open back, and mine has spider webs in the back too. its not a feature, like REAL spider webs. never been cleaned. not too many features but good for a 10 watter.

Sound Quality : 4
the tom delonge squire with a ducan "DESIGNED" humbucker. lol. i know im lame. its pretty good for rock and punk i guess. even if the gains at the zero and you press the white button for distortion it still distorts a bit. it can get pretty loud, with my sister telling me to turn it down about few hours. no joke. the clean distorts a bit at high settings but turn it at about 3 o clock and under and you'll be fine.

Reliability : 10
never broken on me. i dont kick it or sit on it or throw it or anything so that might be why. never gigged with it too.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never dealt with em.

ive been playin 1 year. lost or stolen i wouldnt buy it again cos i have my avt, but if i didnt have the avt i mite get a different amp. i just like trying different things.

I bought this amp about 2 years ago with my first guitar, it came in a begginers combo deal. This is a 10 watt practice amp that has a bass, mid, and trebble eq a volume and distorion knob that can be activated with a button. Its 10 watts, but its DAMN LOUD. I'm not good with the physics of acoustics, but if you play with a farely soft playing drummer in an 8x5 foot un-insulated cabin in the middle of the woods (like where my band is forced to practice) then it is gonna come through for you.

Sound Quality : No Opinion
I play with a standard srat, single coils etc. When I first got this amp I had a friend who had a drumset and we got together to play around. We were idealistic rockers attempting to hit the big time. We've since moved on, but if you play rock music this is a pretty reliable amp. Don't expect too much from it, it is a small amp, but I've played 30 watt Marshalls that were'nt as loud as this thing. It's best for playing rock. It's clean channel isn't great but it won't distort on you if you play it.
If you are wondering about specific details about the loudness it's surprisingly loud. That's the most impressive thing about it. I play with a pretty intense drummer and this could stand up to him pretty well. It's not overpowering, but if you plan to rock with a drummer then turn the volume up and ask the drummer to play a LITTLE softer to cut through.

Reliability : No Opinion
I've never had a problem with it. It's strong too. You can kick, drop down a stair case (although I don't suggest you do) sit on it, I think you can even stand on it. But if you do have a problem I'm sure what kind of help Laney would give you. I never had to deal with it. It's very reliable

Customer Support : No Opinion
Wouldn't know. You can email Laney at their website if you want.

I've been playing for about 2 years and I've moved up from this amp. I would DEFINATELY recomend it to any begginer though. It could use a reverb, but if you play with the distortion up in a hard rock song you won't need it. I love this amp! I've played Marshalls that didn't impress me as much as this thing. In a 1 out of 10 rating I'd give it an 8. If your an intermediate player, don't get it, but if your new to guitar it's probably the best amp out there.
