Features was well enough describet by other owners.
boost channel, reverb(i hate onboard effects), clean and lead channel, a noisgate button, and a max option to compress the sound and to give more low end.

Sound Quality : 1
ich own several guitars, but my stagte guitar is an customized Epiphone Gothic SG 400 Baritone. with seymour duncan SH6 in the bridge an a Redrock LP8 (blades) in he neck position.... finetuning...etc... droped D tuning to get my sound as dark as my soul...hehehe.

Last week i blow my Laney GH50L away, fuck. so i need a new am... i tryed this one... and with the first tone i was dissapointed. if u play this amp in your bedroom this amp do its job. but if you want to practise wiht it in a band... forget it! if you turn the volume more than 5 this amp sounds muddy in the leadchannel... and than push the max button... and this sound is forces you to kick this amp out of the window... an have a 4x12 laney cab and a 4x12 hughes and kettner cab. with the cabs i had enoug pressure with my last amp... but the hcm120 was so cheap in the sound.... no way. if you want push the noise button...you should do it..becouse you get very fast feedback. the sound character change totaly... what should not be.

To compare the loudness.... i played with an 50 watts tube head at volume 3 (1-10) and than you cant understand what hcm120 was crying on a volume 10!!! very cheap....

overall to muddy... cannot even turn bass to 10...
not loud enough. very limited sounds! only the clean channel was the one point in my rating! little good... but at higher volumes begin to overdrive... and is very comprest..

i hate this sound!

Reliability : No Opinion
only hat it 2 weeks.... than sold it... during this time ist works.. hehe

Customer Support : No Opinion

i hate this kind of sound this amp give to you! i play guital for over 11 jears. my music style is hardcore metal... and some of the NU stuff. butt a kind more brutallity in the sound. like Machine Head, Soulfly, Rykers etc... With this amp u wont be lucky if you bought it for this syley of music...

rock on guys...

Well it has 2 channels clean/dirty. the clean channel compromises with the options of - volume, bass, middle, treble. The dirty has gain, volume, bass, middle, treble, noise gate and a 'max' button. The master options are (spring)reverb, lead boost, and lead boost level. On the back of the amp you have a lineout, effects loop, headphones and 2 speaker outputs (8ohm or more...)! This amp has basically every feature you would ever need however i dont use it's built in distortion too frequently as i have external effects. It's the best solid-state amp i have ever owned and i have gigged with it quite a few times since ive owned it! I cant usually crank it past the 5 stage as it starts shaking the house down so to say, but in past experiments it doesn't distort when its cranked up full (only the tv falling of the cupboard does make a slight vibration through the floor!

Sound Quality : 10
Im using it through a Gibson sonex deluxe-180 with its own custom Gibson 'zebra' pickups then through 2 of my multi-effects processors which are the Zoom GFX707 (my main one) and a Zoom 505II(backup wah and modulation!). My music style is progessive rock being influenced by the likes of 'satch' and vai, and this does seem to get me the sound i want from it! The best part is when your cutting into a solo and want that extra bit of volume without distorting the whole sound it has a footswitchable 'lead boost' channel!

Reliability : 5
I have depended on it for quite a few gigs, however it did blow a fuse last week so i dont have much to say on that.

Customer Support : 10
As with the prior problem it kept blowing fuses, Laney sent someone down to pick it up and have it repaired so maybe it was just a 'batch' problem or something had worked loose through its constant battering..........

Overall Rating : 10
Its a wicked amp and i would replace it with another if it got stolen or 'lost'!

This laney has 2 channels (clean and crunch factor (distorted) ) Equalisation is good 3 types each channel, lead boost which adds bass but if you are outside and need that little bit more it gets ya there head phone jack line out etc

Sound Quality : 9
well it sounds great (to me and my band Nil By Mouth) I use a Epiphone Les Paul Custom it has two humbuckers sounds brilliant
and an old Ibanez TR Series with heavy gauge strings (beadgb) sounds even better especially when you are pumping out those growling riffs.
I use a multifx processor so i dont use the distortion channel.
over all it suites me right down to the ground

Reliability : 9
I would depend on it indoors or outdoors either way it is ballsy anywhere.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never needed too use it but 3 year warranty

Overall Rating : 8
