2006 Model. 2x12 Celestions. 150 Watts. Built in tuner. Headphone jack, Pod input, footswitch input, MP3 plugin, very handy!! Turns your amp into a $500 150 Watt iPOD deck! There also hundreds of user pre sets. Ive had the amp for 6 months and i've yet to play with all of them! This amp has a setting for ANYONE!!

Sound Quality : 8
Ok marshall/mesa guys. We've all heard your rants and raves, gripes and complaints about digital amps. And yes, ill admit, to the fine tuned ear, there is a difference between digital and tube. However, The guys at Line6 have made very hard work for that fine tuned ear! This amp has some very nice tone! The clean channels are crystal, even at high volume. As for the high gain models, Marshall look out!! My only complain is the INSANE setting. I find it to be a little over the top. Im not very fond of it. But the METAL setting awesome! I play a Fender Strat with a Seymore Duncan Hot Rail on the bridge. Grrr baby! I have also played this amp with friends LP and of course it sounded gravy!! There are a few user presets on this that are completely useless unless you are just trying to F*** around! PickleBreath for instance! For those who have played the amp, you know exactly what im talking about!!! As for volume, there is absolutely no lack whatsoever!! This amp is worthy of small gigs easy! Could probably pull off a medium sized gig, but i would upgrade to a half stack just to be on the safe side. I play in a band and if i play over 5, everyone gets butt hurt. Bass player is thumping thru a carvin 15 and the drummer is plays heavy on the double bass pedal. I used to have a 1st Gen Flextone. The police never bugged us then. NOW, We've met with the police on more than one occasion. We've had nice heartfelt talks about Law, and order, and noise ordinance, and neighbors.....IF ITS TOO LOUD, YOUR TOO OLD!!!

Reliability : 10
The amp turns on EVERY time! My drummer was carrying the amp inside and thumped it pretty good against the side of the building. The tolex ripped. But hey, the building is concrete, the amp is wood....the building won. Fair and Square. I do not hold the quality of the amp responsible, our drummer is a bit of a tard though! We did a show once at a BBQ, and some of the local drunkards decided to start a water balloona palooza. Needless to say, my s**t got wet. Amp works fine though! Its a beast! My favorite thing is the corner protection! Nice thick, hard rubber corner covers! They are a life saver! I wouldnt even consider a back up with this amp!

Never dealt with them. I have a one year warranty.

I've been playing for 5 years. Ive played on alot of amps, this isnt my absolute favorite, but if you are looking in this price range, you WILL NOT find a better amp!! I even played the Marhall MG. Same set up, 2x12, 150 watt, same price, ladidah, and this Line6 blows it out of the water! Absolutely great amp! If it were lost or stolen, i would be thumping somebody!! And then, yes, i would replace it immediately with a new one! If you do buy this amp, be sure to buy the short board to go with it. A must really.

I bought this brand new from a local sam ash, it is a 2007 model. I am a college student who plays in metal bands on the side to make some extra money, so I needed an amp that was versatile and affordable, very hard to find nowadays. This one had many different presets built into it, which is cool. You can take a custom tone from a band or song and tweak it into your own. I bought the 212 because I need volume but I dont want to wear myself out carrying cabs and heads around, this 212 is 150 watts, the same as the half stack. Make sure to buy the shortboard with it, without the shortboard this amp doesnt begin to really show its potential.

I had played the Spider II's before and i was disgusted by them. Most digital amps sound terrible, especially the clean. I didnt even know what amp i was plugged into to begin with. All i knew was that i was playing an eric johnson custom strat through what i thought was a mesa boogie head (everything was plugged in already i was really more interested in the guitar at the time). The clean channel is beautiful. I realized i was playing a Spider III when i went to change to overdrive. I was hooked from then on. I currently play everything through it, i play my ibanez rg7420 (with EMGs), through it, as well as some old strats. This thing sounds great with metal, and jazz.

For the price, you just can't beat it. I love mesas, and peaveys, but this thing packs all the punch of those at a fraction ofthe cost.
