I don't know in witch year it was made but I've bought it in 2000.
It has an beautiful sound but if you go over the 5 (volume) it exeeds the normal sound.
It has only one channel,no effects build in and it has an hedphone jack.
I wish it has reverb and or gain 'cause i've bought an distortion pedal and that isn't very nice sound on an 6" speaker.
I use it now for practise (in my room) and I have an Samick for band pratice.

I have a Vester, 3 pickup guitar.
I most of the time play Rock, Hard Rock, Metall, sometimes POP.
It has an nice clear sound whitout effects.
The amp can't make so much kinds of sound but for practise it is perfect.
Over the 5 (volume) it has a kind of distotion effect.
The 6" 20 Watt speaker can't handle it very much.

This amp is very good for an gig whit a microfone before it to RE-AMP the guitar sound.
I have it for a year and never had any trouble, my sister let it fell from the stairs and it still works!!

I'm playing the elc. guitar for about a year.
For about 2days ago I've got a Samick SM-15R amp.
If it was stolen I would buy a bigger one.
I love that the amp is small so that it fits in my closet.
I hate that I have to buy extra effects for it.
I didn't compare other products at first because it was a "BEGINNING" amp for me.
