I am the proud owner of the first Afterburner 412B EVM. I requested that Dave Mills put together a Mills Acoustics Afterburner 412B with four 200 watt EV EVM 12L Classic speakers. The cab was built in July of 2008 and is built like a tank. No fancy features just rock solid construction and heavy duty EV speakers. Metal corners, heavy construction, very sturdy.

I thought my standard Afterburner 412B sounded good, and don't get me wrong, it does sound good, but the EV speakers really kick it up a notch. Great projection and note definition no muddiness at all. Very focused sounding. Lows sound great and top end is very smooth, but still present in the mix. Did I mention this cab is LOUD!!!! Clean channel sounds great, full bodied tone, no thin sound here. On the dirty channel of my Diamond Amplification Nitrox, this cab really sounds destructive. Very percussive and great projection. Best sounding 412 cab I have ever heard, PERIOD!!!!

No worries what so ever. Like I said built like a tank. Military grade construction. This is pro level gear. This cab will probably outlast all the other gear I own.

What can I say Dave Mills is the man! Emails back when ever I have a question, easy to work work, loves to talk gear and an overall nice guy. Best customer service I have experienced ever.

Again, the best 412 cab there is, need I say more. Sounds fantastic and built to last. Very honest, will not color your sound, just projects what your guitar and amp are saying.
