It is built like a tank. I seriously can't imagine what kind of abuse these things could take.

You can send Dave, the owner of the company, an email or just call him on the phone. The dude will drop what he is doing and bend over backwards to make sure you are happy. He believes in word of mouth avertising above all and I respect his devotion to doing his best for his customers. Plus he is a really nice guy and loves to "educate" people on his building philosophy and why his cab's kick ass.

Whatever type of music you play, you will not find any cabinet that even comes close to what they are building. The difference is staggering.... I was very skeptical and didn't believe the hype until I heard it myself.

As simple as it gets, a rock solid oversized 4x12 straight front cabinet. Does everything I need it to.

Best 4x12 cab period. I play a Les Paul Custom through a VHT Ultra Lead, and this thing takes all the low end and never complains or farts out even at ear splitting levels. My prior Marshall and Boogie cabinets would fart out with the volume past 3, this think takes it to 10 with no complaint and sounds sweet. Great low end, perfect mids and sweet top end. The unique construction really works. All styles of music sound great, rock, blues, METAL, doesn't matter the Mills just sounds fantastic!!!

No problems here, built like a brick **** house! Overbuilt to withstand years of touring, waterproof inside and out with internal bracing and a unique baffle that makes this baby sing. No other manufacture goes to these lenghts in their cab design. Dave at Mills did his homework for sure!

This cab does it all with style and grace and never flinches at bit. In fact I just ordered one of his traditional size 4x12's he just debuted and can wait to put it through the paces!

Saying this cab kicks ass is a major understatement. Amazing size and construction! Absolutely built to withstand anything you throw at it. It's meant to be loud and proud!!

The sound is amazing at any level!! I've played just about all the major competitors to Mills and they just don't compare. From low volume to high volume, clean/dirty and supersonic, the Afterburner just delivers!! I play 7 string guitars on various songs and usually the cabs are struggling with the tonality of the low B (actually tuned down to A), but the Mills Acoustic AB picks it up and sends it out cutting through your chest with the precision of a surgeons scalpel....

Ever since this thing was delivered to me (not by UPS, USPS, FEDEX or DHL), but by Freight? It's been in steady use - both LIVE and in the STUDIO. I'm just floored. I only wished I had had these cabs YEARS ago. Rugged, Well-built, Clear/Concise Tone....etc.... What the hell else do you want? Every guitar/bass player is always looking for "that tone, that feel, that sound", this thing just plain helps it all. I sold ALL my other cabs and now in complete cutover to Mills Acoustic Afterburner cabs!!!! Period!

The pre-sales and customer support are heads and tails over everyone else! They are support minded and GENIUNELY concerned about your satisfaction in their product. Again....How can you ask for anything more? Dave & Suz kick ass, period!!!!!

I've been playing music since I was six, guitar since I was 11. I grew up believing that Marsh***s was the cab of all times (eventhough I played Carv**s for years). I had an opportunity to check them out, talk to the owner of Mills and took the leap. WOW!! I'm hooked and finally happy with the tone of my gear. Just as gear hounds do, we keep adding or replacing hardware to find that always escapeable sound, but I now realize since purchasing a Mills Afterburner 412B that it's not the processing that has been the problem, it was the cab providing the push. Everything I do is clear, warm toned, it cuts through/even can be piercing (w/artificial harmonics). If you are anywhere near Maryland and you want to check one out, I give you the challenge - Come see me play (SilverTung - http://www.myspace.com/silvertung) and I'll let ya give it a ride.. You won't be sorry. You'll only be satisfied.....FINALLY!

Dave Mills and Mills Acou;stics have been making 4X12 Cabs for a couple of years. It comes with a standard 8 Ohm input and also an output to daisy chain another the 4X12. Got to admit, I never use that particular feature. I use this Cab for everything I do with my Hard Rock band Carbellion. It out performs any other 4X12 I have tried. Including Marshall, Mesa Boogie, and also Laney Cabs. For rock, I can't recommend another 4X12 higher.

My setup is a Marshall JCM 800 and a Hagstrom Swede loaded with Seymour Duncans right now. I am 100% comfortable with that set-up. For our style and sound, it will stand up to any rig a national band we open for brings in. One thing that sticks out, I can turn my JCM 800 all the way to 8 and the Cab will not fart out. It can take any volume level and still stand up to the punishment.

I have had this amp for about 7 months now and it has never had any reliability issues. It sounds great every nite and very well buildt. Let me put it this way, if it were to drop down a flight of stairs I think it would come out ok. The one draw back however is how big it is. Roughly 2-3 inches bigger than a standard Peavy or Marshall Cab on all sides. In other words, I have to just about butter sides of the thing to get it into my Dodge Stratus. In addition, it is also about 30 pounds heavy than other 4X12s. So, if you drive a compact and have a bad back, maybe this isn't the easiest cab for you to own. That is the only real negative.

I have spoken with Dave Mills multiple times on the phone about the cab and everytime he is nothing but helpful. Talking to Dave for 10 minutes is quite the education on Speaker Cab design and manufacturing. I really can't say enough about calling a company and getting the owner/operator/product designer on the line immediately. Personally, I place a lot of value on that in this day in age. I am sure of the specifics on the warranty off hand, but there is one. Dave stands so far behing his product that he offers to refund your money 100% if you are not blown away with his speaker cab. Can you think of another company that will do that?

I have been playing about 13 years now and owned several othe amps and 4X12s. I have a Peavey 5150, a JCM 800, a Laney 4X12. In other words, I am used to pretty good stuff. If my Mills cab was ever stolen, I would definately go out and buy another one. It performs as well as advertised and beats out a Marshall 4X12 and Laney 4X12 loaded with the same speaker cabs. I just wish it fit in my car a little better.
