Early 60's all original near mint. Paid 375 out of a little music store in a small town in Idaho. It would maybe get that much in EBAY if described well.

Think "Runaway", think Duane Eddy, Del Shannon. I'm an oldy country/folky/bluesy guy and this is perfectly suited for those styles and also good for surf / old rock. Pretty clean till 8 or so. Nice bluesy break up. Dial in some vibrato for some awesome sounds.
Pretty darn quiet sittin there cranked up and waiting.

I have NOS Tubes but haven't switched them out. I use for studio/home and very special engagements. Pretty well built. The 7189a power tubes will cost you.

40 years playing guitar. This amp is one of the best. I want more Magnatone! I'm sure other Magnatone models are also well loved by their owners. You cannot imitate the Magnatone vibrato. That and the tube compliment make this and other Mag's very, very unique. Yes, I've owned and played alot of amps but tube amps are the way to go and it's hard to beat a MagnaTONE!
