Features : 3
Purchased used in 1966. Has been through some tough times, but keeps on going.
2 channel with "stereo" input, Vibrato on channel 1
Both channels have volume tone and 3 position tone switch (Lo,Med,Hi)
Foot switch input and speaker output jack.
15" speaker

Sound Quality : 7
Originally used with a DanElectro 59-DC guitar. Also play a 79 Strat through it and a Yamaha 12 string with bridge transducer. It works quite well for a variety of styles. Add-on pedals of course help out for specific sounds.
Vibrato is really intense. Tubes sing very sweetly we turned up.
Hum is actually minimal and can be reduced by a polarity reverse feature in the Standby,On,On switch.

Reliability : 5
This is a very old Amp, my first. I always had a backup with me although never needed to use it.
Amp we through some difficult times during college years. Worst failure was the shorted preamp transformer. Replaced it and tubes only once.
Of course the speaker cone was toast, so I replaced it with a JBL.

Customer Support : 1
Does you Ford dealer work on Model T's?
Same applies, need to find an electronics freak that still gets off on old tube stuff. Kinda like Mr. Spock.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
Been playing since 1966. Have Peevey, Gender, Yamaha, Goya, Danelectro stuff. Not serious anymore just enjoying myself. I have been through transistor revolution to digital and everyone tries to get that "tube" sound. Hey, get some tubes instead.
