Mde IN the 50'S the features on this amp are as basic as you can get
one knob it turns it on and controls the volume.
It has to inputs and enough power to keep the folk
in the front room tapping there feet. It has a tube
config simular to a Fender champ. It was made in hollywood
and has a tweed cover on the cab. the front has a metal screen with
fuzzz material and a design I cant make out (Romans?)

The sound (thats whats its all about) Great smooth
clean lightly strumed or picked and gritty when you
dig into the strings. Great for blues county type stuff
but the great thing is that there is nothing in front or wired into
this little jewel. No Tremelo no gain nothing when you plug
in something like my Digitech Blues tube driver you get great
response (ZZ Top Zep Stones) You can realy contour you tones.
I am a harp player and it shine as a harmonica as well.

I have been playing harmonica for 35 years
and trying the play guitar for the the past
12 years. I have a Gibson Super Medalist (surf
city) as my primary Harp amp, a Seymore
Duncan 84-40 (rocks) a few others and 10 guitars
(I have owned about 45 over the years)I keep the
amps the bring some thing special to my ear and
this is one of them (I guess its sounds like a F. champ
from the 50's dont know but I dont want to spend $1000 to find out)
I wish it had two 6L6's in in (I just got a Vega that does
But its in the mail have not tryed it out yet)so it was a little louder but having great tone is good enough. And yes I would but it again. The Magnatones are getting snaped up so if you your for tone
not looking for a 200w playing amp design with the power
to fill a stadium (PA) try one out.(ps I have no seen another on with the Tweed covering most of them have a marble plastic looking stuff)
