This amp is from 1973 and was purchased online... I put some new
12AX7EH tubes in and wow... this amp has Mercury Magnetics axiom
power transformer and a Wizard custom output transformer which leads
me to believe that Wizard Amps worked on this. It was advertised as
a "Baby Plexi" and it lives up to that name every bit. The seller
said it sounded better than any reissue and it overdrives and holds
notes endlessly because of the diode rectification. All hand wired
PTP with NOS parts... black beauties, bumblebees... it just screams
and is so quiet by far my best amp and I own at any one time at least
six hand wired amps. This doesn't have all those features like master
volume, reverb, gain... endless tone knobs and who needs them. Santana
is right sometimes less is more especially when it comes to tube amps.

Sound Quality : 10
My best amp one of the best amps I've played... its a 20 watt
version of the early 70's JMP's and it just rocks and its my most
quiet amp. Kudos to the folks at Wizard never played one of their
amps but heard about their rep... they really know what they are
doing. I turn everything on 10 jump the inputs and just thank the
lord for this amp.

Reliability : 9
so far so good... having the best transformers and all NOS parts
this appears to be way more reliable than the original... and so
whisper quiet.
