Matamp 120 Legend

This is the only section I can comment on. I just ordered a 2x12 speaker cabinet from Matamp and I was VERY VERY PLEASED with the customer service. Jeff (the boss) was very friendly, very accomodating, and very helpful. I had originally wanted to buy a cab from Orange, but they NEVER answered my emails. I'll NEVER deal with Orange again! Orange just doesn't seem to care about the people who buy their products. The nice folks at Matamp on the other hand were happy to help me. TOP NOTCH FRIENDLY SERVICE!! On a scale of 1-10 I would rate them 15. That's right FIFTEEN!! Great guys.

features? who needs features all you need to know is that if you want
tone, ear bleeding volume, and enough low end to make people vomit then this is your amp. This ain't no sissy channel switching, reverb puking amp here, this is all tube 120 watts of pure tone and volume.
With a high/low gain inputs, bass boost, gain, bass, treble, presence, master volume, and a slave out on the back

I play guitar in a doom, stoner rock band and i love these amps, I've been using a vintage orange stack for the past five years and now that I've found matamp I'm in heaven.
this amp is amazing by playing with the bass boost and gain you can get the most natural clean tone to the most brutal power tube overdrive. I use a 61 les paul jr and a bc rich sg and the amp brings out the different tones of each one, as far as noise theres a little static but thats ok

this amp has been very reliabile, i got the amp took it on the road and it work fine other than a power tube going bad when i got back, but hey if use tube amps that part of the deal you have to be prepared to spend money to keep them running with new tubes.

customer support is great, contrary to someone else's review.
if you call joel and if you dont get him leave a message and he will call you back. Joel has been very helpful he even offer to replace my power tubes with a new set. He is also helping me get parts to restore my orange amp.

I would kill to keep this amp, it has become part of me and my music .
Now that i have two matching 4x12 cabinets, i run two full stacks one orange and one matamp the world will shudder with fear.

I got my head from Matamp distributer Joel Wheeler in Spokane, Washington..When the head arrived it was already not working. I called Joel to report this to him and he offered no suggetions, offered no help in fixing it...The head was supposed to be brand new!!! Basically I got a 2000$ paperweight! I took it to a local shop and he took one look at it and started laughing and told me that the whole head was wired backwards..I have since spent over 500$ to get it fixed...Matamp's customer service sucks!
