Recently I purchased a Matamp GT120 2nd generation type, featuring the all new EC34ET power triode, its a jolly good thing that I did,
the amp works great with EL34 valves, but with the EC34ET, Blinding!!
The distortion is softer and more controllable, on clean tone, the sound is more musical, bringing out the woodiness of the guitar and giving it a more accoustic timbre. Overall transparency and definition seem to be improved also.More to follow as I get to know these amazing tubes. Has anybody else tried these tubes, if so contact me on my E-mail address.

My matamp was amde in 1971 and still going great.
good fo any style you play just you have to be able to play.
amp give this out you put in and there are no many apmps that do this.

If well adjusted good for stage and studio work.
once turn up the distorion is not to big but nice just the way
it's needed from an amp.

sometimes i even go for years with the same tubes.
