It doesn't need more than the three knobs it has.

The overdrive is adequate, but the clean is the purest tone ever. You can hear the strings, the wood, the pickups: it's a truly beautiful tone.

The amp has few features, no reverb one master volume, one preamp volume, one treble and one bass control but that is all you need cause there is a million sounds in this amp. There is a direct out also but the amps sounds so good it must be miked

The amp is the most quiet amp i've ever owned (i'ved owned aloyt) I use a G&L Legacy with Seymour Duncan Alnico II's. The amp has a tone that is just incredible...smooth, fat just great. One thing that is particulary impressive is how individual string voicings can be heard when strumming chords even at high volumes.

So far so good! The amps is made like a brickhouse. Hand wired etc...It's a work of art

would buy it again and even pay more for it just love it. At first I wish it had reverb but after a while you realize that reverb is really not that necessary when plying in a abr especially a noisy one.

I just played one of these at Guitar Center. The whole point of this review is basically to say how "underwhelmed" I was with the tone. I couldn't get any attitude whatsoever on the bass strings using a PRS Santana as a test guitar. This thing just "lays there". Don't crank the treble too much or it will get really shrill.
I suppose it doesn't so much "sound bad", it just sounds "unremarkable".

If you are a real tone freak, look elsewhere. This thing sound no better than a Carvin Bel Air. It's not a "pice of junk", so I can't give it a 1 - it's just not worth anywhere near this kind of $$$.
