Single input, ext cab jack, reverb footswitch jack, 15 loud watts.
The tube reverb is very nice, it has a more narrow range than a Fender tube reverb and it ramps up more gradually. So unless you like Fender reverb set on 10, this is all the reverb you need.
I really appreciate that the control panel lights up and is easy to read in the dark. This is a big plus for me.
Burgundy and Gray tolex look awesome.
2 x 10' Celestions are excellent.
Rugged, high quality cabinet design. All corners protected. Controls are recessed. Detachable power cord.
This amp is light enough to carry with one hand without swearing, another big plus.

Sound Quality : 10
This amp is not about Fender tube amp clean tones. It's cleanest setting is still slightly overdriven even with single coil pickups.
For that reason, I prefer to use this amp exclusively with a Fralin loaded Strat. Humbuckers hit this sucker too hard, but plug in a shimmering Strat and you won't want to stop playin'. Like most amps, it needs to be near peak volume to get the good tones, but man does it sound great. At 15 watts, it can easily get you in trouble with the neighbors.
The volume ramps up slowly at first then very quickly. It really has just two levels. The overdrive has three levels, slightly overdriven, overdriven, and garbage.
.

Reliability : 10
This amp is as reliable as the tubes you put in it.

I wouldn't want this as my only amp, but it can do what it does really well. Because it's specialized, it's a great romp in the hay, but not the best everyday amp.
Every arsenal needs a Matchless.
Matchless, like most boutique producers, tend to be more pricey, so the bang for the buck value is not as high as mass produced stuff.

This baby is a very straight ahead rig. It has the versatlity of a Master Volume - which doesn't sound half bad for a Master volume - if you know what I mean. The volume is right for small clubs. The tone controls are very interactive - which helps. The Reverb is a great addition, as many small combos don't offer reverb these days. The 2X10s is my favourite guitar configuration. This amp is definitely not as feature packed as the DC-30, but I like it's basic sound and volume level better. It's nastier!

Sound Quality : 10
For it's limitations this amp is great. It's singular in approach, but great at what it does. Low volumes are clean and steely, with lots of "sparkle". The Reverb adds depth. At high volumes the amp is very nasty with lots of bite. You MUST back off the bass and turn up the treble, in my opinion, at higher volumes to maintain that articulation and steely quality. I use Strats exclusively and this amp works well with these guitars.

Reliability : 10
These amps are built like tanks and are guaranteed for life to the original owner.

I've never talked to them and I just got the amp.

An expensive amp but worth every penny. I'm a Fender man, but this amp really kicks and has it's own distinctive sound. Mine looks very cool - black Tolex with a burgundy top front (Tolex) and an orangy/brown tweed (tweed as in tweed jacket) grill. To die for! Run out and buy one of these amps!!!
