This amp delivers everything from Jazz, blues, Rock, country ...extremely well. I play a Nash 57 ash strat through a Germino 2x12 cab w/ Celestion Greeenbacks. I also use a Holy Grail Reverb pedal. The sound is spectacular to say the least. I have played about 20 of the latest " boutique " amps & none of which come close to the versatility of this amp head. Hendrix..Allmans..Skynard...SRV.& Peter Green sounds all achievable. Does clean sounds like a Fender very well & gets almost as dirty as a Marshall JCM 800.It does great with pedals..however..with the buit in footswitchable boost,you wont need them other than reverb as mentioned.

The Head comes w/ (2) heavy duty handles on the sides & protective nickel caps on the corners. It also has internal tube warmers to extend tube life...see website link above. With the quality components on the inside & the cabinets " tank " like construction, I have no worries.

I have been playng for over 20 years. This Tuskadaro amp was in limited production, I think 50 total. These amps will last a lifetime and will be highly collectible.

50-Watt, all tube amp with exclusive adjustable output wattage and SAG control. If I could only have one amp, this would be it because of the wide variety of tones at can produce and the adjustable wattage and Sag controls allow me to get that wonderful output tube distortion at living room playing levels. It accepts different types of output tubes to change the color of the tone and includes a tube biasing system to make that job a snap. It has a multitude of tone controls and boost switches, with the end result of being the most versitile guitar amp I've ever experienced. The only downside is that it is big and heavy, but its tone and versitily much more than compensates for its size.

It is patterned after a vintage Marshall Plexi and does that exceedingly well. The Marshall was patterned after a Fender Bassman and with a simple tube change and rebias, ther I was in Fender land, which I preferred. I'm a blues lover and I can get the most wonderful, greasy, gut-bucket blues tones out of this amp and I can get that same amazing tone at any volume level I want with just the twist of a dial or two. I can adjust the output volume of this amp to fit any venue with out adversely affecting the tone and that is a great feature! This amp is all about TONE!

I've only had it about six months but it has been absolutely reliable so far. It seems to be exceedingly well built, so I'm very confident in its ability to preform, long and well.

I've spoken with the inventor, Dave Zimmerman a number of times, and he has always bent over backwards to help and to make sure that I was not just satisfied but more that pleased with his product. I've only had questions so far, but I would expect the same great service if I had a real problem. I've heard glowing reports about his outstanding service for other owners of his amps. He enjoys an excellent reputation with them.

I'm very impressed with this "Tusk"! As I said, if I could have only one amp, this would be it, The Sag and Output Wattage controls work great and are great features of this amp. If it were stolen, I'd be on the phone to order a replacement right away. I absoultely love being able to go from a bright and clean tone to a down a dirty, greasy, compressed blues tone with just the flick of a switch and a twist of a dial. I'm amazed every time I do it, as I've never been able to do that on another amp.
