This is the matching 1x10 extension cabinet for the 1x10 Express combo. It is an open back cab, and comes loaded with the same speaker that the combo has. There's two jacks mounted on the back plate; an input and a parallel out. The parallel out jack has a plastic plug in it from the factory that you have to take out if you want to use it. The dimensions for the width and depth are the same as the combo. The height is less. When you stack this cab under the combo, it looks really cool.
Sound Quality
:

If dialed in correctly, the 1x10 Express is a great little combo with a surprising amount of low end. When you add the matching 1x10 extension cab, it makes a big difference in perceived volume and body to the sound. You can run the combo at "small gig" volume (20%-50%) and this little cab almost doubles your stage volume with no increase in stage footprint.
Reliability

The cab is built solid. The speaker is overrated for the application. The speaker wire is hard-twisted and robust. There is no reason why this cab should ever fail.

When I call the company, I'm always treated with respect on the phone. When I e-mail questions, they always get answered in a timely fashion. No problem.

I'm very happy with this little 1x10 cab. I originally went with the Express combo because of the sound quality in such a small package. This cab is no different. Some of you may look at the price I paid and think I'm nuts. Look at it this way...when I walk into a gig or rehearsal, I've got my guitar on a shoulder in bag, the combo in one hand, and this cab in the other...all without breaking my back. I've been playing 31 years, and portability with great sound is the name of my game. I can haul both combo and cab on the back seat of my Jeep Wrangler and still have room for a person. To me, the price of admission was worth it.
