If your not familiar with electronics or soldering parts together don't attept this.I had seen this model advertised on the mission amp web site for a couple of years and finally decided to build one.It was delivered quickly as they are in Colorado and I am in Calif.,and the kit looked VERY impressive. This "entry level kit" has many parts, some of which were missing. The manual itself was detailed but contradicted itself in more than a few places leaving many questions even for an experienced technician.
I faxed the co.with all my complaints on a Sat.and received a telephone call 5 minutes later from Randy who was very helpful but not appologetic but sent the parts the following week.To order a kit, you would expect all the parts to be there and not have doubles of other parts you can't use.
Enough of my rants which has nothing to do with the operation and completion of the amp.Once I finished it and fired it up,I was more than pleasantly surprised. It is a 5 watt,1-6v6,2-12ax7 tube amp with tremolo, vol, drive, treble, bass, presence that has the sweetest tone but could definately use a reverb.
Sound Quality

The amp is louder than I need as the 5 watts sound like 50 watts, but the tone with the eq really makes it sing with a strat.I really need to congradulate these guys on their design and engineering as it really is a winner.
Reliability
:
No Opinion
If it breaks down it would be because of a fuse, tube or?

Customer support is excellant but quality control should be improved asap.I would buy again from this Co.only because of the experience I had to get through all the problems. They need to have good quality control and have everything double checked before it is sent out as it would save a lot of theirs and the customers time.

Have played for 39 years and have built heathkits in the 60's and 70's.I own a STF electronics super champ that I also built and a Peavey Prowler.
