This is a great rock and roll cabinet. Fat full sound.

Sound Quality : 10
Wow. My cabinet has two Celestion G12H30's. I just got a Top Hat Supreme 16 and these two together have people's jaw dropping. Very fat clear crunchy rock tones. The Supreme Sixteen is Marshall on one channel, Vox AC15 on the other. I had this side by side tonight with a 50 watt JMP master volume Marshall and the tones were damn near identical. The Mojave cabinet was definately fatter sounding than the open back Marshall combo. I have been through tons of amps and cabinets in the past year... Guytron GT-100, Budda Superdrive 30, Budda Stringmaster, Fargen Mini Plex, Peters 3CP1, Hughes and Kettner Edition Tube, Soldano Astroverb, Reverend Hellhound, etc... but this combination of the 16 and the Mojave 2x12 has ended my tone search. I am extremely happy with this cabinet and would like to try a blue in it. My greenbacks are now gone... the G12H30's just kick.

Built like a tank.

2x12 extension cabinet; 1 british alnico blue and 1 G12H30 speaker; ported back to prevent boomy sounds, yet retain bass response that open backs lose. beautiful black tolex, woven fiber front cloth, mojave etched emblem, metal recessed handle, and gorgeous trim all around, really a classy looking cab...puts my old marshall cab to shame! the wiring is very clean also.(no wheels, but i feel it sits better on the rubber feet anyways...it is heavy!)

Sound Quality : 10
Wow, where to begin...the alnico blue really gives the cab a complexity that other speakers can not match. All the hype surrounding them is completely true in my opinion...I met Victor and after he demoed the cab for me while i closed my eyes to listen to each side for the slight differences in the speakers it became very apparent that this combination of speakers is very intentional and suited for eachother. (It was played thru a mojave coyote, and an aiken intruder) The alnico was complex, warm, and edgy all at the same time; beautiful! chime rang all over and notes were crystal clear. the G12H30 was deep and gave the cab balls and power behind the amazing complexity of the alnico...chords and bent notes on the lower strings felt positive and present without being muddy like a vintage 30...the H is much more balanced i would say...great bass response and slight high range edge that the v30's dont have....they have a huge mid hump! I loved the sound of this cab instantly. it feels very alive, like the alnico gets lots of movement. it loves 18watt heads! simply beautiful!

Reliability : 10
how can i doubt the integrity of this cab at all? metal all around on the hardware, thick and solid wood, sturdy feet, and no cheesy protruding handle.

Customer Support : 10
Victor was great to meet, a real class act guy. Answered all my emails, even took the time to talk with me in person for about an hour and demoed his amps! (careful he's a lefty so bring your own guitar!)

Overall Rating : 10
Overall i am very pleased with this cab. It is on the expensive side, but if you are looking for great gear take a look at mojave amps, Victor makes top notch stuff. To put it simple i think this cab is so well built, that even though my head is an aiken, i think the mojave cab is much better. Bottom line, it really sounds great and is built like a tank...looks like a million bucks too. I really have no complaints with this cab...some people might like wheels, but i like it how it is. Excellent work Victor.

This cab is a 2x12" with Celestion Alnico Blues, rated @ 30 Watts and 16 Ohms. They are also made in 8-0hm version, and with a combination of Alnico Blues and G12H, or two G12H speakers. Black tolex (vintage looking, small grain, very cool), with silver piping, 11-ply birch, dovetail joints, and it appears that the cab is built around the speaker baffle. This thing looks sturdier than a bomb shelter. Semi-open back, it has a narrow opening to better balance the lows and greatly diminish traces of boominess typical of smaller cabs. It has an acid-etched metal brand name plate, and a very classy grill cover. The recessed metal carrying handle is located on the top, to ease hauling it around in a balanced way, and it also prevents teetering of your amp on top of the cab. This cab has a mix of a modern look with elements of vintage, in a timeless, elegant design. It is by far, the nicest cab I have ever seen, I like it better than my Marshall 1960BX with checkered cloth - and that is a very classy looking cab. The execution and attention to detail is second to none. Even the screws and washers on the back are made of stainless steel. I honestly feel the photos on their website just do not convey how good looking these cabs are. I opened the shipping box and went WOW!

The Alnico Blues just have the nicest sound. You get that classic british bark, warm and lively, very tight with a slight overdrive when pushed, If you play blues and classic rock, these speakers are it. Man, this is TONE paradise! I get the most unbelievable sound when I plug in my Vox AC15TBX, it opens up the sound and gives it a very nice bottom end. I was considering buying an AC30, but when I heard my AC15 through it, I realized I do not need it. It gets a LOT louder, but with nice definition. The other amp that sounds absolutely killer with this cab is my modded Marshall JTM-45 RI. I use a power brake with just slight attenuation, because my amp has GEC-KT66's, and these tubes put out more than the 30 Watts that the speakers are rated for, but a stock JTM-45 will do fine straight intoi the cab. Everything is tight, no rattles or buzzing. You hit power chords and get a tight and clear sound. I love this cab! Keep in mind this is a 2x12. It does not sound like a 4x12, but it is not supposed to sound like it. Having said this, I like it so much I am getting rid of my 4x12. The analogy between a 2x12 and a 4x12 is liek trying to compare a Formula-1 with a Humvee: they are both great in what they do, but they are different and both a blast. You jsut have to find one that suits your needs, and the Mojave 2x12 Blues delivers TONE in spades.

This is a very recent purchase, but c'mon, this is a speaker cabinet. It either sounds good or not, and you don't need to own it 10 years to figure out if it is well built or not. It is built like a Panzer tank.

Greg Weber and Victor Mason stand behind their products. My phone calls and emails have all been promptly attended. Top-notch customer service.

Overall Rating : 10
Outstanding value. I hesitated a bit when contemplating coughing up serious $, but there is no looking back. Plug it in and you will forget in 1 minute what you paid for it. And it looks killer too when not in use.
