Excellent. For the price I got mine for used, I'd give it a 10, but for the new price, just a 9. I've compared and owned many speakers individually: Celestion Century, Vintage 30, Greenback, G12M-70, Weber Chicago, Blue Dog, C10NQ, and Reverend All-Tone 1250.
Of these, this replaced the All-Tone, and was the improvement I wanted. It had a similar tone response, but a bigger, deeper bass response. As deep as a Vintage 30, but without the upper midrange hump, so smoother.

This should be good because of the 100 watt rating. I was worried about it being made in Italy, but it is just as good as my American & British made speakers.

Great. It is a great complement to the very small mostly closed back 1x12 combo of my Songworks Lanilei. It originally had a Century speaker to be ultra light, but didn't sound as good.

This is Mojo's BB12G model. It's rated to handle 100 watts continuous, but can handle 200 watts peak. Mojo claims that it has 101db efficiency, and I believe it: this speaker makes every amp that you put it in seem louder. They also have a 10" version of this speaker that is just as good, although it's only rated at 70 watts.

I've wound up buying a couple of these bad boys from Mojo. I've got a pair in a closed back extension cab coupled with an old Earth Sound Research 100w head, and another pair in the Marshall 18w clone that I built. The Earth head can really spank some speakers, but the BB12's handle it with ease. Lots of clarity for detailed chord voicing, plenty of low end wallop (the closed back cab helps), and nice highs without being brittle. As for the Marshall clone, I originally had a pair of Celestion Vintage 30's in there, but I had to keep the tone knob cranked all the time, basically rendering it useless. I tried the BB12's and the amp instantly came to life. More output (perceived), better low-mid and high end response. I can now use the tone controls too! I used to believe the hype around the Vintage 30's, but I'll take a pair of BB12's any day over those. BTW, I play a pair of Les Pauls, a 40th Anniv. w/ P90's (the 100's had to go) and a '71 Custom w/ humbuckers, as well as a modified Epiphone Sorrento and a Fender strat.

I've been using the original pair with the Earth head for about 8 months, and they are still going strong. We'll have to see though....

Mojo has been totally helpful. They included a spec sheet with the speakers (I had to ask), and they answered all of my stupid questions when I originally called them. I've bought a number of things from them (tubes, etc.) and they have always been totally helpful. And if the person that you are talking to is not able to help, he finds someone that can.

I've been playing for 20+ years, and have been a recording engineer for the last 15 years, so I know what I'm looking for when it comes to tone. I've got a bunch of amps, and while it would be redundant to have the same speaker in all of them, it's tempting with these. I'm hoping that they expand on this new line, as their old line of speakers were well received by many players. The price is great, and the sound killer. You'd be hard pressed to find a better deal....

MOJOTONE 12" BLACKBEAUTY GUITAR SPEAKER I got to put in my Fender Blues Jr after I toasted the factory speaker. I play Blues, Rock, Country and Jazz.

This speaker brought the amp to life. The amp sounds louder I guess because this speaker is more efficient than original. It is designed to handle 100 watts so I doubt I will blow it with this amp.

The guys at mojo know what they are talking about and are easy to get a hold of so I doubt I would have trouble getting help.

This sounds awesome and cost about half of what a Jensen does. With the cash I saved I can buy another pedal ( Line um up )
