open and closed back; 4 or 16 ohms mono; 8 ohms stereo.
I bought it with two celestion alnico blues, but replaces one blue with a weber silver bell to get a fuller sound with better bass.
I paid 625 - this is cheaper than avatar!

I prefer it over my Bogner OS cab. Its sounds more resonant and woody. More of a classic marshall sound.

I've been playing for 13 years. I've been using several marshall 4x12s, a marshall 8x8, a rivera 1x12, a '70s hiwatt 4x12. Amps have been marshalls, alessandro rottweiler, koch multitone or rivera.
This - and my mojo tremolux 2x10 - is my favorite cab now.

I just purchased a Bluesbreaker Combo from Mojotone. I ordered it on Monday and it shipped on Friday. I got it on Tuesday. Not bad for a custom colored cabinet.
The cabinet is well built. It measures 32"W x 23" H x 10 1/2" D, which is the same size of an original Bluesbreaker cabinet circa 1972. There are no problems with the red levant tolex. All seams are tight and even. The piping is tight as is the salt and pepper grille cloth The inside of the cabinet is sprayed black. The speakers attach with t-nuts and screws. It has the standard gold vent screen and Marshall style handle. I have seen several reissue Bluesbreaker combos and you can't tell that this is not a factory Marshall cabinet.

I got this cabinet so I could install my JTM 45 into a custom colored cabinet. The price of original custom colored Marshalls is outrageous and it's tough to find one in good condition. This is an extremely affordable option.
I was able to mount the JTM 45 head without any problems and I installed Celestion "greenbacks" to get that original Marshall sound. Many people complain about the JTM 45 RI tone but I have yet to find any problems with the amp. The combination of the Mojo cabinet, Celestion speakers and the Marshall JTM 45 is about as close to perfection as you can get.

Tom at Mojotone was very helpful. I ordered a speaker jumper wire along with the cabinet and the cabinet was shipped with a lead for a 4x12 cabinet. When I called Tom to explain my predicament, I had one in less than 48 hours. Additionally, Mojo's turnaround time was outstanding for a custom colored cabinet as noted erlier in this review.

I have been playing over thirty years. I have a Gibson Goldtone GA 30 RV, a 68 Fender Bandmaster in a custom 2x10 combo cabinet, a 65 Vox Super Berkeley II all tube and a Fender Blues Junior. This Bluesbreaker fits into my collection as they are all combos except for the Vox. I have an assortment of guitars, mostly Gibsons, plus a couple of Fenders. I play classic rock, blues and comtemporary Christian music at my church.
I have played many different amps in my time and this Bluesbreaker is probably one of the best built cabinets I have ever owned. It certainly is a bargain as far as I am concerned given the outrageous prices of vintage gear in this day and age.
I would buy from Mojo again and I would recommend anyone looking for any type of a replacement cabinet give Tom a call and let them build one for you. You will not be sorry.
