With the 15" inch speaker, good for bass or guitar. Can get really nice cleans, or country/bluesy/classic rock crunch that clean up nicely with your guitar volume knob ( I use it for guitar). Tremolo hasn't worked since I bought it used for $250. HAven't heard another amp yet that made me want to sell it, on par with some nice Fenders. Distortion is useful up to about 5 on the preamp knob, but it's all I need for the music I play. I use a Boss GT-110 for the distortion. THere is no channel switching on this amp, but takes pedals real nicely. Nothing but compliments on my tone, Plenty loud enough for where most of us semi-pros play, clubs, etc. Someone replaced the speaker with Peavey Black Widow, which I in turn replaced with a Celestion.

Sound Quality : 10
By coincidence, using it with a Music Man Axis Super Sport. Nice combination. Humbucking or single coil sounds. Like I said earlier, good for country, blues, classic rock or jazz, all of which I've played through it and all with good tonal results. No noise to speak of. Reverb is nice.

Reliability : No Opinion
Never had it break down on me. Replaced the speaker jack wire, but hey, it's obviously an old amp since they stopped making these in early '80's I think. Like I said, the tremolo hasn't worked since I had it, but I use a pedal for that.

I take it locally for service. Music Man Amps have been out of business for awhile.

Playing for thirty + years, seen a lot of gigs with this. I would buy another, I've been really pleased with it. Channel switching would be nice, but with the Boss G110, who needs it.

It features on lead channel reverb, phasor and the treble, mids, and bass. It also has a bright and deep switch. The Normal channel has treble and bass.

Sound Quality : 10
For blues and classic rock, the sound is great. I have heard none better for blues. It has a 15 inch EVM speaker. Don't know if that was factory or not but it really kicks. The preamp volume knob really works. You can get a break up overdriven sound at relatively low volumes. And with the 150 watts, it can romp if you want it to.
Hey, I traded my Mesa Boogie for it, so it's good.

Have had no problems with reliability

I have this amp and a Fender super Reverb. I play both on gigs. I find myself leaning toward the music man for most songs. You'll need some stomp boxes for it but that's not much to ask for a kicking sound that has bottom, mids, and hi's.
