Jim took my 100w Carvin Legacy head, gutted it and totally rebuilt it. The amp now has a great super gain channel. I said (super) because the head has a super amount of gain. Just as much or more gain then the top of the line amps ex. Boogies, Marshalls or others. But the amp is very versatile. I have total control and flexabilty of the amp. It has two channels which are controlled with a footswitch. The amp has plenty of power and I play at small venues and practice.

The setup I use is fairly simple. For guitars I use Ibanez 7 or ESP V350 loaded with Seymor Duncan Dimebuckers. The amp is completly custom built for my style of music which is a prog metalcore type stuff. But I had the blessing of only living 30 min. from him so that helps. The amp makes little noise when the gain is on 10. What noise I have comes from tbe pickups. The clean channel also has a gain control so if I want it to distort it will. Overall the amp has a very heavy bottom end with a very smooth clean channel.

Very Reliable, I would use it without a back up. It hasn't broken down. Jim wouldn't let it out of his house until it was very trust worthy.

I have been playing for going on four years, I have used Crates, Marshalls, and Carvins, but none of them come close to Omega. Jim is a dependable, trust worthy, man and I will suggest him to build or modify any amp.
