There are an amazing number of tonal possibilities with this amp!More than enough power!I only wish it had reverb.

Custom made(I am a luthier)solid body(Cocobolo/zebrawood/ebony/padauk,w/extesive abalone,ebony,re-claimed Ivory inlays)1-Bill Lawrence L-450(neck).Coil cut switch.Also,early 1950's Valco"Tosca"3/4 guitar,solid body(like Les Paul,not carved),1-P-90 like single coil(neck).I am self taught,30+yrs.non-pro eclectic(rock,jazz,folk,blues).This amp covers all!Very quiet!What was once a neutral PA amp is now a tone sensation!Overdrive that has horn like timbre, harmonic richness,sustain that keeps on coming!I don't need pedals(I build clones of Fuzz Face,others for fun)!Clean has those rich harmonics that I didn't know were there!The inter-related controls allow melding of tone, thick,thin,(I forgot to mention the Pentode/Triode switch..triode,half power also yields great thick overdrive..Pentode gives cleaner but also rich harmonic overtones).Exceptional!

Since I'm not a pro,not an issue.However,Jim Price builds with military precision..this amp is already 38yrs. old,NOT BAD!I have only had it a short while,but I know that it is well made!

Jim Price/Omega Amps is an honest,no nonsense,technically gifted individual..He was made to build amps!He responds to all questions with speed and candor,helpful suggestions(He built a separate cable to connect to my speaker cabinet for free).He is a player,and is constantly searching for TONAL Possibilities-He will blend different concepts to reach unique and satisfying solutions to Your tone quest.If I had a problem I know that He would back up his work..A man with integrity,who feels his creations represent him and his relation to his customer.

I would hate to think about losing it..it's unique in so many ways-a "one of a kind"...
I would certainly ask Jim to come up with something else,YOU BET!
It has the sound of boutique amps without the HEAVY price...
I do like reverb,and Jim told me how to route the send / return to my old Peavey Express 112's accutronics spring reverb with excellent results!By the way,using NOS tubes really lets the beauty of Jim's circuit shine!
Jim' a great man to talk to,knows what he's doing,a straight shooter,He can make what You need for Your Tone!
