Basic features but O.K. because everyone knows it before he buys the amp.
Efffects loop would be nice to have.

Good clean sound with 15W and low gain.
7W with higher gain is great to get a nice distorted sound at lower volumes.
Great distortion at higher gain. Just play around with the 7/15W switch, volume and gain to get your preferred sound.

The information supplied by Orange is very poor. No information about maintenance, changing tubes, biasing etc..
Usually you can get the most important information on the manufacturers web page but not when you buy an Orange product.
I ordered also a PPC 112 cabinet, it took three months to get it, should be with a 16 Ohm speaker but it has been delivered with a 8 Ohm speaker (without prior information), delivered without any technical information. Technical specs on their website.... ...still 16 Ohm.

Cabinet: Orange PPC 112 (pretty good but I recommend a PPC 212)
Guitars: PRS Tremonti, Gibson Les Paul Studio, Gibson Vegas Standard
Effects: T-Rex Mudhoney, Fulltone DeLuxe Wah, Boss DD-3
Style: Blues, Blues-Rock, Rock
I would immediately buy it again if it were stolen or lost.
A big advantage compared to similar prices heads is the gain knob, together with the 7/15W switch and the volume, it's very versatile.

this amp is really great but i can see it lacking in sound when used with a cheap speaker cabinet. it's a very good portable amplifier and great for home use. this could even be used for a gig. it's 15 watts but it's incredibly loud. louder than some 30 watt all tube combos ive tried out.

Versatility is in the player!! with volume tone and gain knobs with this little beastie who the f**k needs more, perhaps those who cant play maybe? bought it yeasterday gigged it last night.
In a three piece rock band using a poxy old mckenzie 12" speaker housed in a cab i knocked up with some old chipboard out the shed, in a medium sized pub venue on the 15 watt setting no effects using my cheap squier indo tele's it ROCKED!!!!!!!!

It sounds just like what you used to get at those rare largish venue gigs where you can blow full steam with your typical 50/100 watt class a valve head but in a smaller more managable volume for most of the pub/club gigs that 99% of semi pro's play at.
Play this amp straight no need for any poncey effects you may want a little stomp pre amp for soloing if you have another guitar or keyboard player in your band but with the amp set right your pick attack on the strings can be enough to cut it,shyte loads of headroom and brilliant.

I have to give it top marks from me because it is everything i will ever need, ive been playing over 30+ years and this little tone monster takes me back to the good old days, the attention that this little amp recieved from the (knowledgable) onlookers after the gig last night was remarkable, they was expecting a slice of bread to pop out the top! toasted golden brown LOL
as strange as it must have looked on top of my shoddy d.i.y looking cab, the sound eminating from it was pure vintage british 60's/70's rock magic (i dont give a shyte if its made in korea)
The output power almost drowned the the drummer out and i had to back off to half way, so i was only using about 8 watts if we go with the stated 15 watt output it says it is? i wont let it get nicked, if it did? well what do think i would do? its the dogs nutts

The amp, as previously stated, has basic features, Master volume, gain, and single tone control. It also has a power switch (15W/7W). This is all you need for a low wattage amp. A big benefit is the multiple impedance speakers outputs (1 X 16 ohm, 2 X 8 ohm). This allows a lot of versatility to which type of cabinets are used and the quantity. The gig bag included)is handy for transporting. I have one of the limited Korean production units (1st 1000 units), normal production is to be in China. Shouldn't make a difference!

Plugged in tone is in the plexi arena. Not familiar with Orange products I can't comment on it's own comparison. The gain knob is very versatile allowing F-A-T clean sounds all the way to over saturated distortion. It does it all extremely well. Test drive was with an R9 LP. Both power levels have a great tone, especially when just breaking up. The 7W setting is slightly more compressd to my ears, but it's all good. It also has a very convincing tone even at lower volumes. Opened up fully will allow you to easily jam with drums and bass. It may have a harder time keeping up with agressive loud genres though.

If you are looking for a low wattage amp for classic rock or even a bit more overdriven sounds this will do it. Very inspiring. It easily competes with competition from Badcat, Dr. Z, etc. You still have to supply a cabinet but it is easily integrated in a combo set-up using the combos speaker. This is a good way to add new tones without having multiple large amps. If you favour large amps (ie Plexi) you can use this as a practise amp with a 4X12 and then change over to the head when more power is needed (gigs, etc). In my opinion this is under priced.

This is an unbelievable amp ! Bought it new 3 months ago. This is my 4th Orange Amp. I have the Tiny Terror now and a Rocker 30 Combo. Used to have a Rockerverb 50 head and have also had a TC30 Head. But the Terror and Rocker 30 makes me the KING ! The Terror has to be heard to be believed. The features...some say not enough...no FX loop , verb etc...those type of people usually have a pedal board with 30 pedals and many different amps and usually can't play....it's real simple....all you need is...VOLUME - TONE - GAIN and fingers that can play ...forget the gadgets.

The sound of this little guy is like an atom bomb.....At the 7 watt setting you can play low volume but it sounds like a huge stack of moving British Rock heaven....by backing off your guitar pot you can control the amount of the roar...you say you want clean...then why are you buying an Orange.....anyway if you want clean...back off the gain and you got it...switch to the 15 watts and you got all kinds of clean head room. When I first demo'ed it at band practice the guys laughed..."what do you have a new camera"...this amp comes in the coolest little back gig bag , so it looks like a camera bag...at first it looks almost cheezy with its little chrome handle and its very light....So , I hooked it up to a Marshall 4 X 12 Cab...and the guys were not laughing anymore...the drummer was fighting to be heard in my basement...its very organic in character....I can coax all kinds of sounds out of it...WITH NO EFFECTS AT ALL..The gain and guitar volume pot are the key to making this thing sing like a bird...beautiful pinch harmonics and ringing on forever sustain. I also use a Orange 1 X 12 cab and it sounds great too. I play only strats...with very heavy strings...all the kids want light strings.....easier to bend....yea , but they sound like shit....Good tone is made by HEAVY , CLEAN strings and the right fingers and technique....end of story... pedal boards be dammed. Now using a Jeff Beck Fat Neck strat, A Rory Gallagher Strat , and several vintage strats....they all rock with the Tiny T.

I would not want to be without this amp...its great for practice and small gigs and if I need it , I pull out my Rocker 30 Combo which is also killer. If you want to rock , buy an Orange ....sell your pedal board and play , play , play..less is more with the Orange TT..

Brand new amp from 2006. Very very basic. Only controls for volume, tone and gain. Two switches: off/standby/on and 15/7 watts. On the backside: 3 speaker outputs: 2 x 8 ohm, 1 x 16 ohm. That's it. No line-out and no FX-loops. The amp is alle tube: 2 x ECC83 (pre) and 2 x EL84 (power). It come with stock-tubes from JJ (!!!)
It doesn't have the original looks of an Orange-amp. Its housing is made of solid plate-steel instead of (ply-)wood, which makes it quite compact. You even get a nice gigbag with it. Some of my friends thought it was a toaster, a car-battery charger or a lunch-box. That changed dramatically after they heard the little monster...................

When you first switch on this amp, it looks like a "one-trick-pony" because it has only one channel and 3 pots. Connect your guitar and a speakercabinet and off you go. After a little experimenting, mostly with the volume-pot on your guitar, you find out that a variety of sounds is possible from clean, to crunch to serious gain; just by turning the volumepot on your guitar. And what a sound!!!!!!
I connected the TT to my Brunetti Dual Cab (2 x Celestion Vinage 30).
Very dynamic with tons of headroom. And all those harmonics.... Your guitar has become an infinite sustain, even at (very) low volume.
Typical for Orange is the emphasis on the low mids. The TT has this same characteristic. For me, there is somewhat to much low-mid. This can be easily adjusted by connecting f.i. a Boss GE-7 EQ between guitar and amp.
Although the amp has a serious amount of gain, it does not give a really high-gain sound but that, I think, was not the intention of the Orange engineers. I got some more gain by connecting a VOX "Big-Ben" Overdrive. Good combination.
And then the output power.... It's onbelieveble how much power is derived out of two EL84-tubes. Even in the 7 watt-mode, my drummer had to work seriously to be heard. Switching to the 15 watt-mode, you really need ear-protection!!! The amp produces a very very rich sound over the whole frequency spectrum of your guitar. Very ballsy in the lower range, well defined mids and very nice in the high-range. I tried the amp with my Blades (h-s-h), Ibanez S540 BMAV(h-s-h) and my PRS Santana SE (h-h). I've got the best result with my Ibanez.
The gain- and volume pot interact quite a lot. The best sound is obtained when cranking the volumepot to the max. In this way, the poweramp adds fully its character to your sound (as always with tube-amps).
There is no real noticable difference in soundcharacter between the 7 and 15 watt-mode, besides that the possibillity of crancking the volumepot the the max is more "ear-friendly" in the 7 watt mode than the 15 watt mode.
Overall: this is the best tube-amp I've ever had (and I've had a lot of them!!!). I bought it for recording. Until now, I mostly use a Line6 POD 2.0 for recording my guitar. Quite nice but is not the real thing.
Connect the TT to a cab, Shure SM57 in front of the cab and directly on (digital)tape. Much more dynamics and.....a real guitarsound!

The amp came without any documents. No manual. Although the amp is a typical "no-brainer", I like to have some information about it from the engineers themselves. Even on the Orange website, there is no (technical) owner-information to be found. I've read the same remark from other customers. Apparently, I'm not the only one who likes to have some background information with my purchase.

I'm playing for more than 35 years and have owned (as most of us guitarists) a lot of gear. At this moment, I have 15 guitars. My 3 Blades (R2, R4, R6) are my favorits. My main setup consists of: Brunetti Star-T-Rack (class A stereo) all-tube amp, Brunetti Dual Cab, and a Rocktron Xpression multi-FX. Besides that, I have a Fender Cyber Deluxe combo. Very nice amp for in case I don't want to carry around all the weight of my Brunetti-setup.
I have my own home recording studio which is quite well isolated. Although the Brunetti is also Class A, I have to cranck it to much for recording. That's where the TT comes in.
If it were stolen, I hope that the thief really thinks it's a carbattery-charger and brings it back to me because it didn't work!

2 12AX7s, 2 EL84s, gain, volume, tone. Switchable between 7 or 15 Class A watts of power. It's all been said already. Basic in design, yeah, but it takes pedals well. No effects loop (but for truly good tone, your time-based stuff should be after your mic'ed speakers anyway... you want to amplify delays and turn them into garbled noise?). I gotta dock a few points though due to the lack of a multiband EQ.

All right, I'm pretty sure Orange made this thing for people who can't afford the more expensive Oranges, but who still want to melt some damn faces. This thing nails the Orange sound. I won't use any stupid buzzwords to describe the sound, but if you've ever heard a cranked Orange, imagine that, at useable volume. In other words: Pure ass kicking ideally suited for stoner rock, doom and thrash metal.
I'm driving it with a modded YJM308, Keeley modded Rat, EHX Graphic Fuzz and a Z-Vex Woolly Mammoth, through a custom 1x12 I built with an Eminence Man-O-War inside. It sounds so incredibly massive that I'm sure people would call BS if I told them it was a 15-watt amp through one speaker.
By itself it's plenty powerful. People who say this thing won't do metal by itself either haven't tried it or want to slam it because they can't afford it. I've got a 100 watt Marshall head and an Ampeg V4, and while this thing won't compete with them for volume, it is more than heavy enough to play what I play (doom metal).
I haven't gigged it, but even with an attenuator between the head and cab (I'm using a Tubejuice 30 watt) it still easily goes louder than my neighbors are probably comfortable with.

Orange is an acquired taste, and it's not what you should be reaching for unless you know what it can do. It's versatile, yes, but only within a basic range. If your sound comes mainly from pedals and you just need a tube amp for that saturated sound, this is right on the money. If you like the Orange sound but can't afford a Rockerverb, this is right on the money.
Yeah, it's a little pricey, but until more companies start putting out low-wattage tube amps (and even when they do), it's probably the best choice. This is my new favorite amp, and for recording it's unbeatable.
To steal this thing, someone would have to break into my house... he'd be dead before he knew I owned it.

Manufactured in 2006 the Tiny Terror is a very basic design but for Blues Rock has all you need. I run this through a Marshall 2x12 closed back cab fitted with Celestion Vintage 30s. I use it in stereo for gigging with another valve amp (a Laney LC30II). Great home studio amp as well.

The sound is very rounded. Loads of variety if you need it but I tend to use a slight crunch with the volume turned up as I run a pedal board for overdrive and distortion. I use a Gibson Les Paul Studio and it really sings with the volume cranked. A great compliment to the bright sounding Laney (on clean!). Suits the classic rock/blues rock style very well as the harmonic content is great at a reasonable volume. Only noisy when the drive is up high (which I don't use)

I have been gigging since 1990 and own a Marshall JTM 60 2x12 Combo (gigged since 1995 but now retired) and the Laney LC30II. I have been using smaller valve amps of late so I can take advantage of valve overdrive and harmonics at lower gig volumes. I play a Gibson Les Paul Studio into various effects for drive, delay, modulation etc. Yes I would buy another one. Love the sound and portability. Bought it because it compliments my set up very well.

First of all the new little toy from Orange is very, very small, so that it is really transportable as a ???poshy??? handbag! ;-) Last but not least, the current price is definitely a bargain.
Joking aside, feature are very basic but effective, and that's what matters, isn't it? For example, the gain and volume controls are highly interactive and I consider it a sign of tone-wise design, respectful of the vintage 18W glories.
From a technical point of view, it has 2x12AX7???s and 2xEL84???s (cathode biased? I think so, hopeful...). The cabs connections are ok, but a selector should have been preferable. It would have been a rock-solid 8, but considering the sexy gigging-bag (great idea Orange!) a 9 is deserved.

Excellent sounding amp! Usually, I don't consider current production things, since I prefer old/vintage stuff (Fender's, Marshall's, Hiwatt's, Selmer's, Sound City's and so on) but this little baby definitely sings.
I placed a couple of old-stock tubes in the pre-amp (Tungsram and RFT ECC83) and power sections (Philips/Tungsram EL84) and the result is amazing: classic sparkling british clean and, most of all, chimey all-tube crunch up to od. It was good with stock JJ???s though, but less organic and musical.
Maybe - but that's my taste - I'd prefer having a wider clean range, but it can't affect the excellent score though.
Compared to a WEM ER15 - which, IMO, can be considered a high demanding reference - as far as tone is concerned, the little heads are pretty the same, with the ???Titty??? being more aggressive and the ER a bit more retro sounding; on the other hand, the Titty has more punch, much more volume and headroom (it really fills the room pleasantly, more than expected from a little 2xEL84???s amp!)
The tone is definitely reminiscent of the 18/20W jems of the past: tone, tone, tone, with no compromise! Maybe it is not flexible (e.g. the more You turn up the volume and gain knobs the more the tone control is less effective, as in old Orange amps) but it has got all You need if a great sounding amp is just what Your???re looking for. Obviously the louder You play it the more tone it delivers, but You should already know the story...
Ah, yes, excellent with stomps/effects indeed.

The little Titty has been a big surprise for me, as I never expect a current production amp sounding this good, truly! In its price range I can???t see anything with a better price/quality ratio...or even sounding better at all! Even compared to the mighty 15/18/20W of the past or current production boutique???s, the Titty shines. To tell You the story, I???m not even an Orange fan ??? as I prefer a more musical way to the crunch??? - but it is a pleasure to see such an odd design today (...) and consequently speaking about its quality.
It is simply one of the best small heads around, one of the very few which can stand proud in front of an old Vox, WEM or Marshall. And that???s say something!
