the amp is basic and has two gain controls plus a three band eq and master volume. also a headphone socket. it looks like a marshall until you go closer and realise that its is from the 'cheap jack' arm of the company-park

Sound Quality : 6
. i used to have both gains/treble/bass turned up full and middle all the way back for a metal sound when i had a les paul copy. but now i do all eq and effects with a boss gt-6 and i now own a fender jaguar. so obviously the amp needs to be totally clean (gain 1 in the middle gain 2 all the way back and eq totally flat apart from middle up full). This wouldn't be very good for performing as it's only 15? watts but its great for being a practice amp. when you have a cosm effects proccessor like the gt-6 you can get pretty much any sound you want and it will sound good on any amp and speaker as long as they are in good condition.

Reliability : 8
i've had this amp since xmas '95 it was my first! and i've played with it soooo much at like full volume and it is exactly the same as when it was new

i've been playing for as long as i've had this amp and i'm pretty sentimental about it. but if it blew i would probobally get a vox tube amp or somthing for that vintage sound

Its only a practice amp, so i dont expect features. It has all i ever wanted when i was just learning to play. The 2 gain knobs added a little versatility.

Sound Quality : 1
This thing sounds like the worst peice of crap i have ever heard. If i try to dial in some distortion with the gain knobs, i get some muddy noise. If i try to go clean, it either has no sound or gets muddy if i try to play a chord instead of a single note.

Reliability : 1
This thing works less than half the time. I have to screw around with the gain knobs and for some reason that eventually gets it to make noise, but its exactly that: noise.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I care about this so little, i've never even thought about getting it fixed cuz its not worth putting any more money into it.

Overall Rating : 1
I was given this amp by my cousin when i was first starting to play, and i see why he gave this away cuz i just gave this away to my friend whose just starting. The only thing i liked about this is that i was given it for free. I think its a shame that this product is associated with marshall. I own a marshall DSL 401 and a JCM 800 2205 and i love them both. Pay a like $150 and get marshalls lowest priced amp (probably the MG series) instead of $50 for this piece of shit or buy a fender practice amp because they stay clean which is all you want for begininer practice.

1994. Good versatile amp for a litle 'un. many styles of music from heavy to country. 1 channel - wish it had an output [low] for cabs.Home use only can get fairly loud. Basic eq master vol and low ish/highish gain knobs.

Sound Quality : 8
Using Yamaha,Kramer,Ibenutz strat copies, Cheri tele copy, Ancient LP copy and a Real Gibson. any style you can play. noisy on mid high which will rattle your fillings - i must have got the good one. Ok clean sounds and damn fine distorted sounds -set the master vol low, put it through an fx box/preamp crank the gain and it's into seriously heavy territory. On mid level sounds -Rock n roll, U2 that sort of thing its ok BUT at most levels it sucks the sustain out of any guitar even the Gibson, higher up the fretboard, I'd guess that's the speaker size. Clean hisses at high vols. Distortion excellent when new. Pots died over the years I replaced them with similar value pots this is quite easy as all the values are stamped in and the amp is fairly eay to take apart -i spent all my money on gtrs and will only soon be able to afford a better amp. loud enough - just- to annoy a small block of flats i used to live in, well the floor above anyway.

Reliability : 6
Pots died and were replaced 2001, they were getting bad from '98 onwards used flat out a lot for flat rattlin' in 98 this may have contibuted to it's demise. Could get a fair hendrix/60s vibe type sound with a strat when cranked and a good Zep(1) - Dazed and Confused- with the Tele copy. When this was new I impressed my girlfriend with the sound it could make - such a sweet, simple girl!

Tough heavy little mofo. Panzerpruffe!

Customer Support : No Opinion
No way of knowing.

Repaired it myself, simple box of bits.

1 year warranty. I really don't know how the new Marshall G10 compares to this, if it's similar then it'll be a great beginner amp.

I'm going to a Vox ASAP.

Overall Rating : 9
OH lordy, i'm too old to be piddlin around with a tiny feller like this. I have another couple of amps which i hook up to it to get dual mono sounds.

DAMN....... IT... SCOTTY INEEDMOREPOWER!!!

BE Serious this is a fine first/practice amp and competed admirably with my flatmates 30W Fender(?) .. up to a point. I do not regret buying this amp and would consider a Marshall 50 watt.. if they were cheaper, or a 30 if they were better sounding.

If it were stolen I'd take the proverbial Panzer which everyone says that their gear would stand up to being run over by, and drive it up the culprits rectum, sideways. BTW ,this amp can be sat on and is quite physically tough and heavy for it's size.

This amp was made in 1993 and i have had it for about 7 years.it has no switching which is a shame as it has some really good gain sounds with the two knobs. the controls are gain 1 gain 2 bass middle trebble and master volume. i have had a line out socket built into mine and i sometimes runn it into my 4x12 for distortion at gigs (for clean sounds i use a vox v15) its pretty powerfull for a practise amp.

Sound Quality : 6
i use a jackson dr3 a couple of 70s strats and a yamaha pacifica most of the time onstage and it reacts better to humbuckers as some of the gain sounds on single coils are very brittle and tend to break up the sound but as a practise amp this is fine although you have to have a low volume to get a decent clean sound but it suits my style of pop punk/ rock well as the distortion is very brutal and can also pull of a good blues impresion if you twiddle the knobs right but the variety is quite limited to distortion because the clean sounds are too quiet.

Reliability : 10
This amp has never evr (touch wood) failed me and i take it everywhere with me i actualy carry it onstage and plug it in because i use it in the dressing room.

ive been playing now for 8 years and i also use a vox v15 which is a great amp but has no gain. i would by another park if i got the chance but dont think i could be bothered to get a line out socket fitted again and it would be nice to have a few footswitches and reverb for heavens sake. i love the dirty sounds on this amp but the clean sounds are virtualy none existent. for a beginer its a great amp but more intermediate players could do with more control and variety instead of using 2 amps like me.

nothing to great here. 1 volume, a gain setting, a boost swicht and a contour nob. It is a 10 watts amp with an 8" speaker in it. It is loud enough to to be heard by the neighbourhood if you live in an appartement. Do not forget that it is a practice amp

Sound Quality : 7
it has a great distorsion. It can go brutal to simply rock. The contour nob affect the sound very much. The clean on this thing is not worth a thing

Reliability : 10
very sturdy thing. All solid state. Very light. Because it is only a practice amp, you can depend on it.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never dealt with the,

Overall Rating : 7
It is not a very versatile amp but if you are into metal, this is the practice amp you want to buy. Compare it to some of the crate models and you will purchase a Park instead. But if you want versatility, go somewhere else

A standard 10 watt 2 gain, treb, mid, bass, volume controls. No reverb pitty. Alright as a practice amp. I have a H&K Triamp but use the G10 for practice as the Triamp is too loud and takes time to warm up the values, with this its just turn on and play. No complaints from the neighbours.

Sound Quality : 6
I use a strat and a es-335. Gives alright distortion although once at a fairly loud level, you only get distortion. So I just use my pod, and vox pedals for sounds.

Reliability : 10
Excellent, not one problem, had it for 5 years.

Customer Support : 10
Excellent again, broke a knob was sent a replacement for free.

Overall Rating : 6
Good little practice amp, but for the same price you could get something with 2 channels and reverb.

10 watt solid state combo 2 gains, Bass middle and treble + a master volume. I've had the amp 5 years now and is has always been strictly a practice amp. and to this purpose works just fine. However at the price paid channel switching would be nice as it comes as standard on some amps of lower price (peavy ones for example.)

Sound Quality : 7
I play using a jackson rhodes fitted with two humbuckers and an epiphone explorer also fitted with two humbuckers. the first thing to note is that with the gains full up and the volume getting that way the amp buzzes so much you lose an awfull lot of your sound. This means that I have resorted to using an FX pedal for distortion. however on lower volumes the noise is much less noticlble and the distortion very usable, it is in fact almost fuzz like with a farty low end grind. on cleaner settings it is again very useable. However when the volume is maxed the amp takes on a horribl farty noise on all Fx I use and on the clean settings themselves (urrgh) However it is very unlikely that the amp is going to be used for more than solo practice so this isn't such a problem. I only notice this as i have recently joined a band and I can only just compete with the drummer and bassist. in all with Fx's in fount the amp can make some usefull noise just abit to much in some situations. I play a shed load of MetallicA stuff and the band is into heavier end of punk rock and the noise it can generate can just about cope (only just. when I get a new larger amp I dont think this will leave the bedroom unless i can use it as a monitor but still i ain't gonna sell it its worth holding onto.

Reliability : 10
Hasn't given me any trouble. nothings fallen off nothings gone loopy. Have been using very exteam ammounts of distortion on very high volume settings and it is still going so thumbs up. Virtually indestructable.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never talked with them

Overall Rating : 6
Very good and exteamly useable in practice situations, especially if you have some FX. will never be loud enough to getany where near the stage unless as a monitor.

I think its a Mid-90's G10 i got it third hand so im not sure. It is relatively versatille for what i play but im gonna get a new amp soon.
I Play mostly Nirvana and other grunge bands. the distortion is poor for these but i use a Boss Os-2 pedal for distortion.
Its a one channel solid state 10watt amp so its not very loud and near full volume it gets very bassy almost like a sub-tone sort of thing....It has a headphone out, dual gain switches, mid, bass, treble, volume....it would be nice with a line out....

Sound Quality : 5
I use it with my Epiphone Les paul Standard....two humbuckers....
The clean sound is quite good but the gain is pretty poor it basically only delivrs lo gain and mushy overdrive you really need a good distortion pedal for proper gain....The sound is quite good quality and not very loud but at full volume the sound gets very bass and is absoloute crap.....
I'd say this amp is good for a beginner but you'll soon realise you need something better...

Reliability : 6
Its never broken down or anything but the plastic knob for the bass switch has fallen off...other than that no real problems...its not complex enough to go wrong.....
You couldnt gig with a 10 watter but its okay for rythum playing in a band just practising....

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had any contact with them...never any real problems

Overall Rating : 6
Not bad for a beginner amp...can be quite loud with a good pedal.....amp distortion is mushy tripe but the clean isnt bad.....reliable but not great build quality.....alogther not bad for its price range

Made around '93. This amp really only has one channel which ranges from clean to distortion, using two knobs: Gain1 and Gain2. It has Bass, Middle, and Treble knobs, and a Master Volume knob. Wish it had Reverb. This was my first amp - later got a Peavey Bandit 65 - now I've graduated to Fender:). I use the Park G10 as a monitor now for my keyboard at gigs, gotta watch that distortion though! Also used it in a Halloween display for playing goulish sounds thru a tape deck. Actually I've found it pretty versatile and easy to carry around. The sales guy made a point to say Park was "made by Marshall."

Sound Quality : 6
Originally bought it with an Ibanez electric cheapo guitar. I was a gear neophyte and the price was right. It is plenty loud but sounds like a toy to me now with my Tele. Works pretty good onstage as a keyboard monitor (keyboard also patched into the PA system) since i can control the volume easily with the Master knob. I'm gonna keep it though... it's a handy little amp.

Reliability : 5
A few months after I got it several pots began getting noisy and since it was under warranty they replaced some of the pots, no charge. I guess Park uses cheap pots. Later they started to get noisy again so i squirted in some WD-40 and never a problem since!

Customer Support : 9
The warranty worked for me.

Overall Rating : 7
Not a bad practice amp, but NO REVERB! Distortion sound is fair, and you can crank this amp pretty loud. General purpose amp.

basic practice amp. a few knobs. no reverb. solid state.

Sound Quality : 7
this was my first amp. i had a peavey strat copy when i had this amp. i like to play rock and roll music. everything from classic rock to thrash. i like to play everything. this amp wasnt noisy. the clean sound was pretty darn good. the distortion sound was really good for a small practice amp. this amp is intended to be a bedroom practice amp for beginners. however, it actually can get some pretty cool sounds.

Reliability : 10
this is a dependable amp. i never had any problems whatsoever. solid state dependability.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 6
overall, i would give this amp a 6. it doesnt really have many features. its just a basic, no frills practice amp. but it does have a good sound. suprising good quality for the price.
