I use an acoustic guitar with a simple add-on pickup. this amp is a good practice amp because the sound it makes is ok. (I mean this is not a dedicated Acoustic amp) but its great for practice..I think it makes most pop songs sound nice :) One nice point. I hooked up the guitar to an effects pedal and switch on the overdrive and while my guitar didn't become an ibanez..it did pull the 'metal' thing off well

So far so good. Thought I must say that all the controls feel as good as a high end Marshall. This is an important clue for a manufacturer who puts effort in a $60 buck amp is usually reliable :)
