This is a 1999 Marshall 50watt solid state amp. There are two channels on the amp, a clean channel, and a distortion channel. The clean channel is awsome. The distortion channel is a little flimsey when little distortion is used. There is one input, a effects loop, a footswitch, and a line out. I wish that there was a head phones jack. There is also a cd in jack in the back.

I use a american standard stratocaster. I like to play rock, some classic rock, some modern rock, and originals. The amp is able to handle all the sounds that I want. The distortion is good, when it is turned up higher. The two channels can be manipulated with the controls.

I have never had a problem with it. I would use it in a gig without a backout without a second thought. The amp is very sturdy, and is constructed well.

I've been playing for about a year, I have had the amp for about 5 months and have been very pleased. I would recomend this amp to anyone who wants awsome sound but doesn't have the cash to pay for a tube amp.
