I play a mix from classical rock to death/black metal to any style you can think of. It fits pretty much every style I enjoy to play, but when you play it clean it sounds a bit funky but its gotta be my head. Great bass, shakes the floor, walls, and roof, and I was only on volume 1(about as loud as I can play it where I live). When played in my practices I played it to the max volume I have and it was incredible, the tone it put out made me drool.

I bought this amp used, and its about 10 to 15 years old, and it still sounds great, one of the speakers has a little crackle when you sustain a palm mute, but thats it. The appearance looks like it went through many a show and transported many times, but its beautiful to me. All the speakers are stock.
It is very dependable.

I have been playing long enough to have the ability to play anything I want with flying colors, and I own a peavey bandit 112 and a rage 158, and owned a marshall 30 watt practice amp. If it was stolen I'll buy another asap, I love everything about it.

Straight cab, 4x12. Scheffield speakers, stereo/mono switch. Pretty damn straightforward.

Sounds great used with a Marshall JCM-900 head- it can definitely handle the high volumes i have the nerve to produce. I use a Jackson Kelly Pro and a BC Rich Beast from the custom shop (both using Seymour Duncan humbuckers)- both sound fantastic either clean or distorted. I generally play the heavy stuff- but sometimes you just gotta get funky. YOu could say it's "multi-purpose".

I bought this used years ago and god only knows how the previous owner(s) treated it. I know they took off the logos on the front (maybe an anti-corporation punk band?) and apparently took steel wool to the tolex. I got the rest of it off and redid it with purple tolex, then stuck a vintage Fender logo on the front- looks better than new.The speakers are still the factory installed ones, and they all work perfectly. If i had to replace them i'd go with the same models if i could.

Never needed any with this product, but Peavey has been reliable in the past.

I lucked out and got a great sounding and reliable cab used. I'd definitely recommend it to players of all types, especially those who like LOUD. It can really pump when that's what you're going for. If it were stolen or, like, rolled away or something i'd be upset and would definitely get another one. But i don't think anyone would have the wontons to steal my big friggin' purple cab.

I have four of these, two slants, and two straight, (two full stacks), I play Jackson guitars with the stock pickups into a series of effects pedals(Boss), Noise Suppressor, Metal Zone, Harmonist, Super Chorus, Flanger, and a Digital Delay, which go into my rack, ADA MP1 pre amp, Furman EQ, BBE Sonic Maximizer, and a Peavey Classic 120/120 power amp, these cabinets with my current set-up sound great at low volume and extremely high volume and everywhere in between, I have had no problem with the sound quality, no breaking up or crackling, if anyone has this problem, it may be your amp.

I`ve never had a problem with these, however I have dealt with Peavey once before, and they were good with their service and reasonably quick about it too.

Best cabinets for the price, and the only problem is that I want at least 20 full stacks :)
I know I gave it high scores all the way around, but they`re great cabinets.

two inputs switchable to stereo or mono, 8 ohms or 16 ohms, 4x12 cabinet with 4 sheffield speakers. no idea on the wattage, but I'd guess it's pretty high.

this cab looked like shit when I bought it, but it sounded good. that's all I cared about. the outside was all scratched up and half the tolex had been ripped off and there was a few spray painted spots on it, but the inside was like new. all it needed was a little work.

never dealt with peavey before. I work on all my own stuff so I'd just fix it myself if it broke

not a bad deal for only $50. all I had to do was rip off the rest of the tolex, sand it down a little and paint it. the dumbass who had it before me painted the grill red but forgot to take to grill of to do it so the speakers have red paint on them as a result. it looks as good as it sounds now with a nice flat black paint job on the wood and silver chrome on the grille. I'd buy it again. was gonna build a cabinet but I'd have had to spend way more than $50. pawn shops are cool....

4X12 Straight cabinet, stereo/mono can be changed with a switch. has 4 sheffield speakers. I use it with a peavey transtube supreme and I have also plugged my marshall dsl401 combo into it, more on that later.

the sheffield speakers are very clean, more like eminence if I had to compare them to anything. When compared to my stock celestrion speaker in my marshall, the peavey speakers are much cleaner and smoother than the celestrion is. Overall I am very impressed with the cabinet, pretty good buy for the money, get a slant though. Probably a marshall 1960A would sound better though

Get a slanted cabinet. A good cabinet, I am getting into a celestrion kick so I may replace the sheffield speakers, we will see. But still I think its a good cabinet as is

i've received it in August 2000. This is the model. It perfectly suits for my style ( Thrash Metal ) but it sounds equally good with a rock crunch, and also with the clean. So i can say it is versatile. 4*12 Sheffeild equipped > 300 Watt. Mono or Stereo, two jacks input.

I use a dean guitar with Dimarzio super distortion, and Seymour-Duncan for the bridge pickup. It perfectly suits for my style ( Thrash Metal ) but it sounds equally good with a rock crunch, and also with the clean. I think it sounds a bit coldy on the clean channel. It is perfect for live its 300 Watt grin and bear the 100 Watt of my amp. The most is that it can stand the bass frequences better than the Marshall cabs, and the price is less high than Marshall. The only point i regret, it is a little bit more noisy than Marshall cabs. But if i had to purchas it once again i'ill buy it.

Delivery within 2 mouth, because> importation from England. And Peavey cannot do something against the $ increase.
