welp, all the usual jazz of a large practice/small stage amp. there's only low/mid/high and presence to change the tone, but that's all you need with this baby. the channel is muddy as !@#$ without the presence on 10, i swear.. so that's not the best feature of this amp at all. i only ever use it when i can't be bothered hooking an effect up. by far, the best thing about this amp is it's power for it's size and the KILLER reverb. man, i can not give the reverb enough props! if you ever see one, try it out just to hear that reverb..

mostly i'm using a strat plus with lace sensor pickups with this amp. the lace sensors are pretty muddy so i use a lot of presence. this contrast makes a great tone imo. i play anything from rythumy strumming with lots of attack to all out 10 billion fx pedal noises and i've never found a fault with any style played through it. it always handles low end pretty well, but at times i'll need to kill that presence when i play other guitars with it.

Reliability : 8
I'd use this amp for anything really. it's loud enough to use for gigs but sometimes i wish it could go a little lower for the neighbours sake when i'm using it at home. i'm pretty sure that the sound quality of this amp has lessened a -fraction- since i've owned it though, due to excessive explosion noises.. (long story ;] )

I've never had to deal with peavey so i dunno what they're like.. warrenty don't mean much when it's bought old and used..

Before i had this amp i had a small ibanez which was hella cool (though only a practise amp) but that got burnt in a fire.. so out i went to find a new amp. i checked out my local pawn shop and low and behold, there was an amp that i had sold them before i had the ibanez. turns out when i sold them the peavey, one of the guys said " i'll have that thanks." and decided to keep the amp for himself rather than put it out in the store to be sold. turns out he ended up buying a fender, so he tried selling the peavey through the pawn shop. anyways.. i rocked up and boom!^# there it was. i grabbed it straight away because i remembered what a sweet amp it was with it's kick ass reverb and big sound. now every time i go back there the guy tells me how he don't like his fender and he wishes he had the peavey. the BIG finger to him me thinks :)
I've been playing for around 10 years now and this is only the 3rd amp i've owned. If it got brokened beyond repair, after much fury, i'd try to find another if i could, but i don't fancy my chances of it in the city i live in. my friend bought a much later model bandit and it sounds like shit compared to this this. it's pretty much noise free, is very easy to get a good tone out of and is sound compatible with everything i've ever plugged into it. If you see one of these cheap, grab it!%@ it's well worth the money. I love this amp more than all my guitars my drums and my piano put together! Again, the reverb is in a class of it's own and REALLY makes this amp stand out from the crowd. kicks ass, man.

I've had this amp since I was 15...I'm now 27. I've used this amp since I began playing all the way through my current studio work. You cannot hurt this amp...I think it enjoys being dropped, but thats just a hunch...lol.

Never needed it.

Overall Rating : 10
I thought this little amp deserved a review since it has been the only piece of equipment that has stayed with me over the years. This amp may not be a vintage Fender Twin, but its a solid little amp with awesome reverb and lots of power for the size. I will never get rid of this amp. The distortion is not really good, but the clean sounds are just awesome with a nice reverb.

This amp is like whoa. Awesome reverb, distortion isnt great but tollerable. Gets very very very loud. Great amp for gigs or just practicing quite nice. comes with footswitch.

Great sound, high wattage, bone chilling reverb, distortion is so so but it isnt all that bad, great for any style, i play rock blues hip hop funk and jazz and it holds up for all 5.
