All tube 120 Watt amp built in 1998. It has clean and lead channels, reverb, tremelo, and an effects loop. The footswitch controls all of the above. This amp has more than enough power for almost all applications. This amp will play crystal clean to raunch dirty at all volumes. I play blues, rock, jazz, and alternative on a Peavey T60 and it covers all styles.

Sounds awesome. Great warm tube sound. Pre and post volume on the lead channel allow you to dial in the amount of distortion. The clean channel stays clean to ear piercing levels.

The amp had an intermittant reverb problem when I first got it. This was fixed by the dealer under warranty. However, my last amp was a 1978 Peavey Classic. This never had a problem. Bought the Ranger to get a cleaner clean and more power.

The amp has a 5 year warranty. Not to tough to take. They also have customer service / chat pages on the web.

I've been playing for 25 years, this will probably be my last amp (but you never know). I've had my 1st peavey since 1978. My only gripe is it's heavey (80 lbs or so) Originally went looking at the Transfex 212 but the tone of the Ranger won me over.
