Here's all the features of this amp. There's more about components and design on the website:
-1x12 combo -Class A/B 2xEL84 powered for 20 Watts -All PTP hand built by Bill Penn -Weber Copper Cap Rectifier -Weber Alnico Silver Bell Speaker -Mercury Magnets Tranformers -2 Independent Preamps, clean and drive, footswitcheable -Built in Weber MASS attenuator, On/Off footswitcheable -Clean Channel Controls: Vol Bass Treble -Gain Channel Controls: Vol Bass Mid Treble Master -Accutronics Spring Reverb -Presence Control.
I am giving this a 10 because, although it's not the most versatile amp out there, Bill Penn will work with you and custom build your amp with almost any features you could request. For me, it is the perfect amp. I play everything from Jazz to Blues to Rock and Roll and it covers all my styles perfectly. Some people may say that a 20 watt 1x12 combo won't be loud enough... this thing can be LOUD! Plenty to get over even the loudest drummer. I couldn't ask for more in terms of versatility.

Unlike some amps that I've owned which need constant tweeking to find a good tone, there is hardly a bad tone in this amp. The tone controls allow many subtle variations, but don't go far beyond their useful range. With my Fender Fat Strat, the clean channel reminds me distinctly of a Fender Twin, with a hint of the added jangle of an AC30 (due to the EL84 power tubes). It is a very responsive and harmonically rich clean tone, great for both chords and single note playing. I've been through many amps, including Fender, Marshall, Mesa, Rivera, Bogner, etc. and this is the richest, nicest sounding clean that I've come across. As for the drive channel, it is definately Marshall geared in it's voicing, but at the same time more open sounding and harmonically complex. When you crank the amp with a humbucker guitar, the thing becomes a whole new beast! Thick, sweet, singing lead tones that still retain note clarity. What's more, the channel can go from over the top gain to gritty clean by just picking alittle lighter. Amazing!

Since I have gotten the amp a month ago, I have had no trouble, and I do not expect any problem to come up. Bill Penn stands by his work and offers a very comprehensive warranty. Besides, the amp is built rock solid with top-notch construction quality. No worries.

Bill Penn is hands down the friendliest, most helpful man that I have ever dealt with. While choosing features for my amp, he e-mailed me regularly, providing me detailed information on options and suggestions in order to build the ideal amp for me. He arranged time so that I could visit his shop and try out some amps, and he kept me updated every step of the way in the construction process. 10+++

This is the last amp I'll ever need. I've been through many pieces of equipment, including my last amp(Rivera KHR 100), but nothing has compared to the features, quality, and tone of this amp. If it was stolen, I would not think of replacing it with anything that wasn't built by Bill Penn.
