this is a two channel solid state head. the clean and overdrive share an EQ, and there is a voicing knob, kinda like a presence. there is also an effects loop. it also has individual channel volumes, and a master. the matching cab is excellent. also has spring reverb

i was playing thrash with this thing, and the distortion sounded thin, until i got in a band, where it was promptly drowned out. this thing sounds like its about 4 watts, but it is a full-sized head. all you can hear it a low thud, great bass response, but no presence whatsoever. i was playing a gibson SG, and a jackson kellythrough it. the clean is ALWAYS distorted, a very harsh kind of distortion, turning the channel gain to 0 did not help this. also, i always picked up radio stations in high gain mode. reverb is good for surf
Reliability

great reliability, probably because this thing is small enough to fit into a single spaced rack, and they put it into this huge head.

i got it used, but randall(now owned by washburn) has no idea when this head was made, or anything about it.

i have been playing for 7 years, and i got this for a good metal sound. it didnt deliver in the band though. also it only gets louder until about 7 and then it just gets mushier until the master is on 10. i sold it, i wish it had gotten stolen.
