This ampo is very versatile. It has a very clear clean channel that is bright and crisp. Also the distortion is great for metal. There are two channels plus a built in chorus that can be turned on with a footswitch. i also found the effects loop and headphone outputs useful. I have used this amp for several giggs in a bar type setting and it was more than loud enough at not half volume. being a solid state amp I like how the clean channel does not give you any feedback at higher volume's or make your sound overdriven.

Sound Quality : 8
I have been using the amp to play classic rock. i use seymore duncan passive pickups and have not experienced any problem with noise hum or feedback. The distortion is good for metal but i wouldn't say it is ideal for extreme styles such as Death/Black metal. An effects pedal such as the boss metal zone can easily solve this problem.

Reliability : 9
I have never had a problem with the amp breaking on me. It has been reliable for several giggs. It is heavy but the wheels make it easy to transport.

I have been playing ten years and I own alot of different gear. This amp has sounded good with any type of passive pickup i have used. I love the analog feel of the chorus and how loud this amp gets without producing feedback.
