Already listed, 2 channel, (clean and overdrive) stereo chorus, reverb.
I play all types of music from heavy metal to classic rock, and some blues and classical.
Has effects loop, headphone jack, footswitch , etc.
I think it has plenty of features for an amp in this price range. Plenty of power, I use it at home, but could be used for small gigs.

I play all different guitars thru this thing. Jacksons, Fender Strat, Les Paul Copy...All sound nice thru this amp. The clean channel gets a little bit dirty at high volume, but not unlike most amps. The distortion is pretty nice for a built in deal.

I have owned this thing for ~10 years and I bought it used. Never had a single problem with it. I have moved all over the country with this thing, and had it shipped, etc. Never got so much as a scratch!

Never had to deal with them, but the randall site is pretty decent.

I have been playing on and off for about 15 years. I have owned this amp for about 10 years!!! I honestly do not think you can get a better quality amp(in this price range)with all of these features anywhere.
If it were lost or stolen, and I didn't already have my marshall half stack, I would definitely buy another. It has a ton of extras, and it has served me VERY well. It is for sale if anybody is interested, drop me a line.

Good bang for the buck! 2 channels (1 "clean" and 1 overdrive), a good 3 band parametric EQ, presence control, reverb, stereo chorus, footswitchable, effects loop, stereo preamp out and stereo speaker out with two 10" speakers. You can't ask for any more features on an amp this size unless you expect a built in effects processor like the Rockman XP100.

Sounds very much like a tube amp! Clean channel is not clean like a peavey solid state and actually gets kinda over-driven once you crank the gain up past 6... much too dirty in my opinion. However the overdrive sounds VERY nice and tube like though it's not heavey enough for the stuff I like playing (Boston, Triumph and metal stuff). The EQ allows you to shape your sound quite well and the presence is a great bonus. The reverb kinda bites because anything past 2 is just too "springy" and over-done... I keep it just below 1 or else I turn it off altogether. The stereo chorus sounds really good and is versatile enough to give you some wacky wobley sounds if you want them. The 10" speakers leave the amp sounding too thin, but they plug into the speaker out jacks, so you can unplug them and plug in bigger speakers and set them further apart to get more of a stereo effect. It's also not LOUD enough! It may have 35 Watts a side, but it sounds more like just 35 Watts... great for practicing, but not enough juice to take on stage. Note that bigger speakers seem to help with that problem too. With good external speakers hooked up to it, I'd give it an 8 but otherwise it's a 7.

Mine is getting old and the pots are kinda scratchy. It's a solid unit though and even though I'd always want a backup, I doubt I'd really need it with this thing.

Been playing for 10 years and I own a Gibson LP, Fender Strat, Fender Bassman and lots of Rockman effects. If something happened to it, I doubt I'd buy another one unless I got a really good deal... just don't use an amp like that anymore because I need more power. I love all of the features on it, though the slide switches for the channel switching and chorus switching is kinda archaic. Bottom line is the clean is not clean enough, the reverb is not useable past 2, the speakers leave a thin sound and the amp is just lacking power. Excellent overdrive, EQ and chorus. Highly recommended for a beginner, or just as a practice amp.

Bought new in 1989.
Versitile enough for me. Use only at home. Rock and pop stuff.
Has two channels with foot switch. Has effects loop, but I haven't used it. I think it has 70Watts total through two Jaguar speakers.

Play rock and pop music. Use it with an old Telecaster and a newer but still used Les Paul Classic. Both sound fine. Has some buzz, especially with the Tele.
The stereo chorus, reverb and overdrive all work fine. You have to hold your ears before I get up past 7 on the clean channel. It is loud, but dosen't seem distorted.
The overdrive needs the gain way up to 8 before I like it.

Over 10 years and I only had to do a little soldering on the foot switch connection.

I've been playing 20 years. I have a Danelectro nifty 50 that I use to play in church. It is light and plenty loud.
I my Randall were stollen, I would try a lot of other ones, but would want similar features.
I would like a tremolo circuit, but if it really mattered, I would have added it through the loop.
I'll share that I enjoy reading these reviews and would like to hear how other people like this Randall RC235.
